Isles were leading 3-0 and are now trailing 6-3. Roy inherited a really shitty situation.

More like sometimes advanced stats are not telling the truth.

As much as @henchman21 is convinced that he's just streaky and everything is normal, I don't believe that a bad streak is 30 games long and spread over 2 seasons.

He's pouting because Miller took "his" 1C spot, that's more than likely what's happening.
Yeah, we know. You don’t like advanced stats and REALLY don’t like Pettersson.

Joel Edmundson scored 2 goals tonight, EP has 0 goal this season.

PS: I don't dislike advanced stats at all.

Edit: EP just scored a goal! Stop the presses!

How the f*** can a team using Namestnikov as their 2C go 8-0?
Well, I think Henchy pointed out last year that technically it’s Lowry who’s the 2C, regardless they kinda did this last season where they dazzled everyone with their defensive play and depth and then did jack shit in the playoffs.

I’ll give credit to Arniel for doing the one thing Bones apparently couldn’t—keep Ehlers out of the doghouse.

If Edmundson still has more goals than EP at season’s end then by all means, go nuclear on him. I am assuming that won’t be the case for long.

This is just piss poor officiating. Even if Varlamov deserves a 2 minute minor for slashing Tkachuk, you HAVE to whistle Tkachuk here ESPECIALLY when he comes around and cross checks Varlamov?

Sheer incompetence by the refs and that's saying something given they are calling so many penalties to start this season.

And with every point, he acts like he's never scored a point in a game before.
I never wish injury upon any player but it brings me so much joy anytime this guy fails.

I'm a big believer in integrity when it comes to competition and this guy faking his injuries every year to artificially generate cap space always rubs me the wrong way.

The year they won the cup I remember their 2nd round series against Edmonton and them complaining nonstop that the Oilers were targeting Stone's back.

Michkov or Bedard, who will score more points?

Also, gotta wonder how Montreal fans are feeling about the former lol.

That's an interesting race and I think it could become a long term "rivalry" between those two.

Michkov: 8GP 4G 5A 9PTS

Bedard: 9GP 3G 6A 9PTS

Michkov has the advantage of playing with better players but Bedard has the advantage of not being a rookie anymore.

They are banking on Demidov becoming as good.

I don't know that Michkov has the advantage of playing with better players.

Michkov has split time with Couturier/Konecny and Frost/Tippett while Bedard has played primarily with Terevainen/Foligno.

Konecny the clear best player there but not as though Bedard plays with bums.

Foligno is a 36 yo 4th liner and Terevainen is a lower end 2nd liner.

I say he's playing with hot garbage, yes. Also they have no one to drive offense from the backend. Michkov is surrounded by a much better team.

Chicago tanked to a dangerously low level, they might have a hard time to get out of there long term even with Bedard.
