Didn't like that pass from #12 on the US. You gotta be sure it's on the tape.

Unfortunate for Luke, caught a post early, had an assist on the first disallowed goal, made some good plays and created chances. No luck. He started pressing as the game went on.
Yea, Canada had a spy on him almost the whole night and were running him every chance, which was the right strategy. Luke Hughes needs to get stronger and more physical, it cost them kn the 5th goal.

I think it's been reported in the summer that he got bigger. Hopefully that continues. Still super excited with our top 2 D-men prospects.

I agree especially on the physicality. I noticed some good battling in front of the net but he got bullied on the boards.

What did Luke do tonight that everyone on twitter and our favorite resident Devils hater Rachel Doerrie is liking tweets about him being bad?

Not much, he created a lot, hit a post and he turned it over on Canada's empty netter when it was 5-2 Canada. Top prospects always get hated on for some reason, I wouldn't look into it more than that. Just be happy we have 2 of the top 5 (or even 3) D prospects in the league. I sleep well at night knowing that.

I haven't really commented on Doerrie's situation, but I'll say it seems like an obsession right now. It's somewhat weird.

Lol figured, everyone hates that kid for no reason it seems. I saw he had an assist taken away on one of the overturned goals.
And he hit a flukey post in the 1st period. Kid could have 4-5 extra points this tournament. He creates so much and a lot of his plays haven't been converted by his teammates. I watched every single one of his games this tournament. Watch him pot 2-3 points tomorrow lol.

There is a clique of seemingly mentally deranged hockey women that loathe Luke Hughes. This was the supposed horrendous game people are freaking out about.

Lol, well, there you go. What I was saying in a nutshell lol. He had 1-2 iffy moments but overall he played a fine game and has had a good tournament, which, isn't even over yet.

Jilted employee, she turned out to be wrong on all of takes she's said on twitter in regards with the Devils. Proceeds to get hired/fired from Vancouver within a calendar year. And continues to character assassinate Luke Hughes. I wouldn't be surprised if Quinn confronted her or management about this stuff she was saying about Luke and it caused a riff when she was in Vancouver considering how close the Hughes brothers are.

Can't get clicks if you're slandering *looks at notes* Cutter Gauthier and Rutger McGroarty, doesn't roll off the thing or get the clickbait as a Hughes brother.
