Speaking of logical fallacies: where did I say he was a shit fielder? Don't lecture about fallacies after committing one yourself.

That's... not a logical fallacy.

You said "I thought he was supposed to be great outfielder" in response to him failing to make those plays. You might not have literally said he's a shit fielder (for that matter I never even said you said that. I said that people judge plays to be shit/bad independent of degree of difficulty), but the implication of your post is that he's not good (or not as good as he's supposed to be.)

If you're going to try and smugly try to pull that turnabout play, make sure it actually makes sense first.

He would have ran in on both of those balls. Such clueless people on here

The clueless people are those doing mental gymnastics trying to defend one of the dumbest and lopsided trades in blue jays history.

Have you bothered to watch Teoscar at all this season or no?
Teoscar despite his struggles this season is still better than minor leaguer Varsho.

Hernandez was garbage in the OF he was expendable, Gurriel was better then Hernandez in the OF but he also wasn't the greatest ever, but he did have a hell of an arm, and his bat was good, I never agreed with letting him go.

Lol, we are 1/3 of the way through the season and you’ve already written it off as a lopsided trade? That’s clueless

Incorrect.

Hernandez: 51 GP - .232 AVG /270 OBP./.404 SLG, 9 HR, 674 OPS (88 OPS+), 0.4 WAR

Varsho: 51 GP - 209 AVG/.278 OBP/.361 SLG, 7 HR, 640 OPS (79 OPS+), 1.0 WAR

Varsho gets on base more, and unlike Teoscar isn't completely useless when he isn't hitting.

I can see a Roger’s exec complaining about his hair and ordering shatkins to dump him. That’s how pathetic this organization is.

Not sure who is more clueless. Someone who thinks defense doesn't matter or someone who thinks the only thing that matters is defense? Jays improved the defense but at what cost? Team can't score runs and Varsho is part of that problem for sure atm.

That was before his defensive blunders in this game. I wouldnt be clinging to that 1.0 defensive WAR if I were you. He’s a black hole on offense 79 OPS+ LOL!

also he was traded for Gurriel plus Moreno. The trade is not even close. Moreno would be the jays top catcher right now.

Barely missing robbing back to back homers isn't a blunder. Go crawl in the same hole shaner crawled out of.

the early returns indicate the trade was a colossal blunder by incompetent management. - That’s what buds do….

Does KK miss those balls? I think not.
