Yes we should all wave our blue and white pom poms no matter what happens and play Net Nanny just like you.
Didn't say that, but coming in here like the world is ending gets tiring to read. They couldn't get hits, I get it, it sucks, but going through the late 90's and all the way to 2015 with no playoff baseball sucked even more than the last 2 years. There are issues to fix, but also players didn't play like we expected them to, and they have to figure that out. The fat shaming is also appalling. I guess Babe Ruth, Papi, Cecil and Prince Fielder were the model of athleticness.

Schneider also said Berrios stuff looked the best all season. Then why pull him? I feel like Schneider said that to prove that it wasnt his call

Berrios is such a good solider. Not talking shit at all
-"i started walking guys"
-"its an elimination and you do everything to win"
-"i lost"
-"i did my best"
-"we are lucky, we get to play the game we love"
-"i gave it my 100%"

They keep pressing him for answers and he want say anything bad about taking him out of the game early.

Vladdys eyes were red. Looks like he was crying
Well maybe next year he can come into shape. The year he hit his 60 homers he was slim. Now he has a bigger belly than me. Same with Kirk, why did we get rid of Moreno.
We don’t play percentage baseball. No taking a strike when picture is struggling, no hit and run, no bunting,
The last three managers have wasted some very good teams by trying to be their friend instead of a prick that lights a fire under their ass.

You're more in the Eyedea category though where you're here for better or worse.

I am guilty of staying away during losses during August and September because hard to address everything when there is still a possibility to make the playoffs. But now that its over, happy to converse as there is finality to the 2023 season.

Maybe Babcock can try his hand in baseball managing? :sarcasm:

I appreciate that you understand there is two sides here and everything isn't always peachy and let people post their frustrations without criticizing it because they don't agree.

Perhaps but he needed a translator for his end game questions. Just seems weird he hasn’t learned it yet.
It’s a comfort thing with him, a lot of guys who don’t speak English as their native tongue perfer to use an interpreter as to not have their words misconstrued or say the wrong thing

You have a point, but the reason some of us are upset is because we had high expectations for this team. Those bad Jays team we knew what we had and didn't expect much. This team underperformed and it's okay if people aren't too happy with that. This is a discussion forum after all.

I got my eyes on the Asian free agents. They would be my top targets. For trades I agree with the guys suggesting a TOR-SD 2.0 trade, but doesn't necessarily have to be with SD.

Obviously you have to explore it (like Kirk) but you wont get value i'm almost certain ... unless you consider Varsho like analytic trade as value. You wont get a young player able to hit 30+ HR and do 100+ RBI and hitting for 280 for vlad (both in season and playoffs). It wont happen. You'll get a guy with holes in his game like Vlad this season. You probably have more chance Vlad rebound that you get a guy good enough for the trade to be worth it unless you want to make a money ball trade. But making a money ball trade involving Vlad would be dumb.
I’ll leave value to those who know more than me but I’d assume they would get proper value.
Maybe he’ll mature but doesn’t seem like a guy you can win with to me.
I’d build around Bichette.

I am so sick of this management running this team based off a spreadsheet and a calculator. Sick of over relying on analytics.

There’s nothing wrong with analytics and the sport’s most dominant teams like TB and LA are just as big on them.

There just has to be a point where common sense prevails. If Berrios is struggling and Kikuchi is throwing like he did mid-season, that move made sense. But when Berrios is absolutely dealing and Kikuchi has been absolute shit in September … WTF.

About as good a season as they could have had, 89 wins was right on target and they probably should not have made the play in Series.

A lot of changes will or at least should occur to try rebuild.

GM and Manager are for certain gone. Too much chaos.

Chapman, Kiermaier, Belt wont be offered.

I wouldn’t be surprised if that was Flop‘s last game as Blue Jay. He’s wasn't a good player this year.

If Bichette doesn’t want sign long term, I’d do him a favour and find a better market for him.
