I'm almost as amped up for today's game as I was for the Jays and Stanley Cup playoffs in the early 90s as a kid. :ultimatewarriorsprint:

I am from Toronto originally and through luck had family in the same neighbourhood as a blue jay's dad when I was a kid and my family was good friends with his parents. I got to go to his dad's house quite often for visits and sometimes he was there sometimes I would just sit and watch soccer with his dad as he was a massive fan and I knew nothing of the professional sport while they had a few beers and talked.

Anyways, they would routinely gift me free tickets and when I would go to games he would tell me to meet him at a specific entrance and then give me free stuff. Some things I got were blue jays hat and shirt, things like the playguides with some signatures in there of the players, that kind of stuff mostly things from the store for free.

I got to see probably a dozen free games. But I never really watched the sport outside of that. It was just something for a 10 year old kid to do and I could spend time with my uncle as he would take me to the games I got the tickets for. And so, when I moved from the city I stayed a die hard Leafs fan but basically forgot about the blue jays.

I have no idea of the sport but f it might watch the game with you guys today for old times sake.

I used to think hockey playoffs were the best in sport. In the last 10 to 15 years, my mind has made a complete change -- baseball playoffs are the best. Every pitch and out counts. Getting to watch baseball playoffs wall-to-wall from 1 pm to 1 am EST can't be topped.

I couldn't give two shits about the NFL.

I like my baseball in the summer, hockey in the winter. I used to sometimes watch basketball, but they lost me as a casual fan after the madness of 2020.

Because I always need to whine about something: both teams wearing alternate jerseys instead of their nice classic unis

If your team is in it yes, if your team is not in it, baseball is boring as hell

I can watch hockey and NFL some time if my team is not in it

1st inning error for the Twins... and we left a runner on. Let's see if there is jitters in the bottom half of the inning... error free baseball will give us a chance.

Eh hard disagree there. NFL is probably better then the NBA but MLB and NHL playoffs are in a league of their own.
No right or wrong, just preference.
NFL > NHL > MLB for me.
NBA is unwatchable
