Would be poetic of Minnesota to win their first series since beating the Moneyball A’s against the Moneyball Blue Jays.
That's not a good gambling strategy. If you have an edge, bet it. You're clearly good at finding edges (if you're being truthful here), so why willingly forgo more money?I'm a gambler, I made well over 30 grand gambling over the last 2 years, but I don't bet against my teams as it's terrible karma and there's no enjoyment in winning those bets.
I said Belt would likely have lead the league in K’s this year over a projected 162 game season or if he played close to 162 games and you mentioned how Babe Ruth lead the league in K’s multiple times over his career.
So you’re telling me that you WEREN’T comparing the 2?
I wouldn't say any of the additions they made this season were "moneyball" transactions lmao.Would be poetic of Minnesota to win their first series since beating the Moneyball A’s against the Moneyball Blue Jays.
To the locker room to pop more champagne for playing an extra two games? They’re coming back I can feel it.

Just thinking back to when small deficits didn’t feel insurmountable
You have a really good back pedaling game. No, you said that Belt was bad because he strikes out lots, ignoring the fact that he's statistically the best hitter on the team this year.
I pointed out that the best player in the history of the game led the league in strikeouts lots of times, which should show you how bad that argument is and that there isn't necessarily a correlation between striking out lots and being bad. It wasn't 'comparing them'. It was pointing out that your argument sucked.
Nah, that's the pepperoni sticks giving you gas..They’re coming back I can feel it.
Hated the trade. But but Varsho has a .354 WUYF rating since Aug. and and and he made a great turn around second base in game 97
I’ve been ripping this trade since day 1 and got bashed by many here.
THE TRADE WAS A COMPLETE f***ING JOKE.. FIRE EVERYONE
Any stats saying Belt is the best jays hitter is a pretty flawed if not ridiculous stats. Sometimes you have to watch the games. I'm not surprised at all to see Belt struggling against the best pitchers in playoffs. No, you said that Belt was bad because he strikes out lots, ignoring the fact that he's statistically the best hitter on the team this year.
