The management team did well tearing down and building it up but they can’t get over the hump and they get in their own way. Sometimes you need a fresh perspective. Wish pains me to say because I was a supporter.

They haven’t been bad but they were brought in to do one thing - win a championship and they haven’t done that so you can’t waste this core. Just like the Leafs.

I’ve never disliked a team like I do this seasons blue jays. I’ve said it all year it’s an unwatchable team.

When you say they did a good job tearing it down, what do you mean?

To me it would mean trading those vets for young players/prospects to help in the future, but I can't think of a single impact young guy we got in return for all of those quality vets we had when they took over.
