It’d be pretty hard to miss the playoffs now.

Given Seattle plays Houston and Texas again to end the season, is there even a plausible scenario where the Jays could miss? I think the Jays could conceivably lose every single remaining game after today and still make it.

No they can still miss.
 
Depending on how bad some of the knocks are, the Jays could play Tampa in the 1st round with as little as 2 of their starting 9 lol

With a win, the magic number is 2 with 6 to go and both teams losing.

It’d take some crazy scenario for them to miss now.

Like those Houston/Seattle/Texas series’ would have to end in sweeps one way and then sweeps the other way, and the Jays would have to win less than 2 games the rest of the way.

Today it was Springer and Biggio, but this is such a fun team to watch all around on defense.

The Sox, Yankees, and Rays have all given away a bunch of runs these last few series on defensive mistakes the Jays rarely ever make. Even Springer's inside the parker today... it was more bad luck than bad defense for the Rays, but Kiermaier and Varsho both catch that ball every time.

Huge series all around. Vladdy’s swing and plate approach is looking super dangerous which is perfect timing heading into the last week! Great win, not super comfortable with Yimi at all when he pitches but other than him, the bullpen looked good

Sucks because I missed the end of the game. But I’m happy because I missed it to watch my Packers come back from a 17-0 deficit in the 4th to win 18-17 and the Jays still won. Good day.

Now if my fantasy team didn’t face Mostert and his 41 points when I have Achane on my bench with his 49. Dolphins beating Denver 70-20. Yes. 70 points.

Seems the bats are coming alive at the perfect time.

Pitching keeps up and Jays have a shot.

Winning both the series is big.

Just do the same at home and they're good to go.
