With tonight’s win vs the Yankees, the Jays magic number is 7 wins as one of Seattle or Texas are guaranteed at least 4 more losses as they play each other. If a team loses 5, then the Jays only need 6 wins. If a team losses 6, then the Jays only need 5 wins. And if a team gets swept all 7 games, the Jays would only need 4 wins.
