What did he say? I stopped watching.3 hits wow that's pathetic
Buck dropping the bomb I like it
He was going on about how they have struggled all year to win when facing teams .500 or above and that most of their wins this year have come against sub .500 teams, and then he implied that there record is where it is because their not a team in the playoffs, just not good enough. What did he say? I stopped watching.
I’m not watching at all tonight. Didn’t need to watch past the first. Hopefully that’s true. I’d be booing for sureThe crowd making their displeasure known.
They have a losing record against teams above 500. Ironically the only worse than them against those teams is the rangers. That’s likely reversed after this seriesHe was going on about how they have struggled all year to win when facing teams .500 or above and that most of their wins this year have come against sub .500 teams, and then he implied that there record is where it is because their not a team in the playoffs, just not good enough.
The way he said it, made it sound more like he was sending a message, that this team isn't good enough to compete against the good teams.
They have a -56 run differential in divisional games and that’s including blowing out the rays 20 to 1 in a game. They have a losing record against every team in our division. They are not walking into the post season. Do you really care if they get in honestly? What do you actually think this team is going to do other than lose two games handily in a row and quickly go home anyway. The Blue Jays will still make the playoffs.
Seattle and Texas play each other 7 more times this season.
So it isn't as though both of them can go on a 5-2 or 6-1 run during 7 of the games left on their schedule. One of those teams will fall behind when those 7 games are complete.
Toronto will finish ahead of whatever team loses that Seattle-Texas battle.
I don't really blame Kikuchi or the other starters in this series...
The bats haven't helped them at all.
Yeah this team has no power. Where is the 3 run homer?Yeah the pitching has overperformed all year so no one should be surprised if they hit a wall now.
Was hoping the offense would've turned it around by now, but seems like it won't happen this year. Just no power at all
