I'm amazed how beecher lohrei and poitras bulldozed themselves into the lineup. Finally kids with superior talent are on the team. No more patch vets. I was panicking and worried especially about our forwards especially center position and suggesting to sign paul stastny. Thank goodness it didnt happen and poitras took the spot.

Because he’s not a difference maker and him playing 1, 10 or 79 games won’t matter a bit in the standings, while younger players, who I’d like to see play get stuck in the minors.

He’s a JAG and plays a boring, uninspired version of hockey.

As much as I’d like to have a reason to think differently, this team isn’t winning a cup.

I don’t understand why they‘d play a guy like Heinen, when they can get younger guys useful NHL experience.
I do hear you... but he scored a few points. He scored 2 goals? So Monty can justify...

Tho there is probably also a soft spot for him (their history). Mitchell the same.

The problem is, the guys you want to see in the lineup were just badly outplayed by one of the 'bottom 5% forwards in the league."

I'm not a fan of putting kids in the NHL that didn't earn it. Merkulov, Lysell... they didn't earn it. I think you'd make a much better case arguing for guys like Steen and McLaughlin because at least they look like NHL players, but again, even they were outplayed by Heinen in camp.

We can't whine about them potentially not taking Beecher over Brown because of on-ice performance, and then say they should take Steen over Heinen despite on-ice performance.
What’s everyone’s love with McLaughlin?
Dude is a very generic player and was one of the first cuts.

I don't understand why any team would play Heinen.

Have to give credit to the Bs brass and coaches. Roster looks like it is shaping up nicely. Also, have to think that Looch had some input on who his linemates would be. Marchy likely has some input on roster decisions as well since Monty seems to be keen on getting input from team leaders.

Now that there are some promising youngsters in the mix this season will be even more interesting and fun.

Sorry but I seriously hope not or at least very little. I like Lucic but he’s in no position to pick his linemates imo. Marchy sure he’s the captain and top line player but not sure I want a 4th liner picking his linemates.

Big difference between having some input, as I suggested, and straight up picking linemates. Furthermore, Looch is more than a mere 4th liner on the team. He's a leader and is well respected. My bet is he has some voice.

What’s to understand? Because businesses don’t like to waste money.

Why are fan so concerned with Jacob's money? It's $800k, which is nothing to Jacob's.

Because he is known AHL junk and never should have gotten any contract.

How is Brown's signing hurting the Bruins? He's waived and his cap hit is coming off the books. It's not going to stop the Bruins from making any deals on giving signing anyone to an extension.
