JESPER BRATWURST
yep. Especially when we're now, basically, the only game in town.I very much doubt that the offers on the table will change a whole lot as of now.

You can but I forget how.Am I able to turn the thread into a regular one, just for me? The Live thread on mobile jumbles around posts and makes it pretty unreadable.
No thanks, id sooner put the ghost of Colin White next to Jack and Bratt. Thatd be the worst defensive line in hockeyMeier Nico Mercer
Bratt Jack Holtz
Theoretically.

Yea I tried it once and hated it. I get the idea being good, but for some reason it's just executed horribly. You can but I forget how.
I hated live threads and turned it off somewhere in the settings.
I`m okay to trade him, more over I`m all in to trade him, but it would not be the problem to have him in top-6 with Meier if he will pan outNo thanks, id sooner put the ghost of Colin White next to Jack and Bratt. Thatd be the worst defensive line in hockey
Holtz is cooked here. Not like hes any good anyway, dudes nothing but a shot
If we will not trade him, so why not.Yea he would come in and replace Tatar given the money we would need to give to Bratt and Meier.
I don't see a way that happens that isn't way worse than just losing him.It would honestly be a home run if they kept holtz in this deal
I also didnt pay Palat 6m to play my third line and produce at a 30 point oaceI`m okay to trade him, more over I`m all in to trade him, but it would not be the problem to have him in top-6 with Meier if he will pan out
Btw we have another option - Meier Nico Holtz and Bratt Jack Mercer. If Holtz is a one way 30+ goal scorer here, they will figure it out.
But again, I`m good to trade him.
If we will not trade him, so why not.
If Devils will save Holtz, Gritsyuk and Zetterlund in this deal,(and Mercer, Nemec and Luke of course) it would be a home run for this roster. Can`t believe in it and it sounds like wonderland.
It’s this and his IQ. He doesn’t know how to properly read the play to get himself to the right spots and it makes him look way slower than he is.
He also has mediocre hands and issues creating his own opportunities, which compounds the IQ issues.
No no no no… Timo wings for JackI also didnt pay Palat 6m to play my third line and produce at a 30 point oace
Palat needs to be next to Jack and Bratt with Meier next to Nico and Mercer. That should be the top-6 until 2024-2025, then maybe look wt trading Palat
Ok, if you want to find your own version of top-9, you have a luxury to use Nico, Meier, Jack, Bratt, Dawson, Alexander, Palat as your top-6 option for different situations. I believe if you will put Holtz on Haula and Tatar wing - it would help him to figure it out better, than his time with Boqvist or Mcleod.I also didnt pay Palat 6m to play my third line and produce at a 30 point oace

If there is a better option internally for the top 6, you own up to the mistake of signing Palat that much and put him wherever helps the team most. Also having a 3rd line that can produce is key to success.I also didnt pay Palat 6m to play my third line and produce at a 30 point oace

Exactly why Palat in the top-6 is the only logical and acceptable answerIf there is a better option internally for the top 6, you own up to the mistake of signing Palat that much and put him wherever helps the team most. Also having a 3rd line that can produce is key to success.
This times 100000000. Does everyone think the Devils saw Elias as a “bottom-6 winger” during their Finals run in 2012?Someday people will learn that NHL teams do not think in terms of a top 6 and bottom 6, that it is clearly top 9 and bottom 3. But until then, we'll just deal with all the takes.

Palat on your third line not producing well is only hurting it further. Palat is only worth near 6m if hes doing the small things for Jack and Bratt and gathering enough secondary assists to hit 40-45pts a season
Palat on the third with guys like Haula and Tatar would produce 30pts over a whole season
Yea but you are skipping over the point about, IF there is a better option to be in the top 6 you are choosing not to use it based on money. A coach should never look at salaries when putting together a lineup.Exactly why Palat in the top-6 is the only logical and acceptable answer

I think teams would love to roll a lineup like that. But it's not easy to put together the talent to do so.Someday people will learn that NHL teams do not think in terms of a top 6 and bottom 6, that it is clearly top 9 and bottom 3. But until then, we'll just deal with all the takes.

Well considering most people are talking about the quality of player when they say top line, 2nd line, bottom-6/top-6, etc.. - it has its distinctionsSomeday people will learn that NHL teams do not think in terms of a top 6 and bottom 6, that it is clearly top 9 and bottom 3.
