I know this isn’t the right thread but I’m not sure where to ask. Are single game tix on sale yet? If so, where. We’re heading up for a few USA games and are trying to find tix. Any help is appreciated.

Looks to still just be selling the tournament packages. Halifax is pretty much completely sold out but still lots of seats for the Moncton package where the Americans play their group games.

Right. I forgot about that. my bad! but in my defense, an Olympic tournament minus NHL participation doesn't really register all that much on my hockey radar, if at all. Didn't watch Olympic hockey before '98 and never saw anything of the 2018 or 2022 tournaments. not even youtube highlights.

No excuse, however, in forgetting Sillinger's participation at last spring's WHC. I generally follow the tournament for the young 18–22-year-old contingent. and of course, the GMGs.
Very fair regarding McTavish, I couldn't forget it though since they talked about it so often during the WJC.

Enjoy the tournament. Moncton is the nicest of New Brunswick's cities.

Thx. I assume they open up single game tix at some point?

Hopefully he gets to extend his Maritime adventure with a trip to Halifax for a Canada v USA GMG. I'm looking forward to this one. first year since my return from overseas that I'm off from the 23rd. to the 9th. Nothing but World Juniors and Christmas cheer this year.

Sounds good, enjoy. Might have a few Atlantic players as well if Kidney and Dean are there. Perhaps another Newfoundlander with a chance too in Greene? Get some cabbage rolls in, rolled steak, turkey with stuffing, turnips, Scotch eggs, meat pie with rabbit, chicken bones for a snack. A good seafood chowder if you're lucky, Festive Special at Swiss if you're lazy. Can also get in the mood early by giving a donation to Christmas Daddies.

I'll add this for anyone who follows NCAA hockey. How does Ryan Greene look? He was drafted as a two way forward who is good defensively, but he is currently at a point per game for BU as the third leading scorer on the team. Sounds to me like a guy who deserves a camp invitation as a viable depth option but I'm curious what any NCAA watcher has to say.

He looks very good - I don’t know if I would describe him as a “two way forward“ however. I’d consider him as an offensive forward, a playmaker - he skates well, has good puck skills and has great vision.

I expect him to get at least an invite - but I don’t know how well of a fit he will be playing a checking role. He could be a very good option as a 13th forward though.

He was my 13th forward on my last roster I posed but I'd definitely like to get eyes on him in the camp. L'Heureux as well but I'll be able to see him pretty easily in the Quebec league.

That seems strange. He's been getting a pretty steady 12 minutes per game and has put up some points.

McTavish has played with men at the last olympic tournament, which probably counts, and Sillinger was on the IIHF world championship team last year. They're all welcome in 2023 though, hopefully with a few top level players to show the way.
I should have added that they also said Johnston will not be going.

You’re telling me Dylan Guenther is likely playing for this Team Canada team?

Oh my lord this is going to be fun.

Austria watch out!

Any chance Mailloux gets an invite ? The guy is playing hot right now. I’m so happy candiens drafted this.
