If it’s anything like the rumored Pepe deal, that was suggested to be basically 5-10 a window. It would make sense.

Arsenal have money, but they’ve also spent a lot.

I can understand them not liking if the offer is something like 90m guaranteed but payable at 15m/year for 6 years.

On /r soccer it sounded like Arsenal's offer would pay it over 5 years whereas Man City's was going to be over 2. Plus if the add-ons are things like win the league, win the Champion's League, etc... that has a much better chance of happening with one of those clubs versus the other--though this new offer looks to have less add-ons.
