On /r soccer it sounded like Arsenal's offer would pay it over 5 years whereas Man City's was going to be over 2. Plus if the add-ons are things like win the league, win the Champion's League, etc... that has a much better chance of happening with one of those clubs versus the other--though this new offer looks to have less add-ons.
50k if they win the Emirates Cup.

75k if Gunnersaurus high fives Rice after a winning goal.

Unless the Kane family are worse at business than it already seems, why leave now when only 1 team is bidding for you? You can go anywhere next season, put together another monster season and get paaaaaaaaid by the team of your own choosing.

Because he’ll be 31 and he doesn’t know how many kicks at the can he has left. I don’t know what else he has to do at Tottenham to be honest.

What bigger team than Bayern will come for him? City has Haaland, Real is working on Mbappe, Barca has Lewa. What's left? PSG or some secondary English team?

f***ing furious about the Kovacic sale
Pretty obvious
RLC’s Chelsea story is so unfortunate.

That injury f***ed him right when it seemed like he was figuring things out.

Never could really get it back. Maybe a new league and environment will help him.
Not much of a footballing brain and doesn’t track back consistently on defense. Has really good skills and is strong. Lost pace though after his injury.

I was looking back at old footage. The pace is definitely the biggest thing. He was legitimately all over the place.

There was some evidence of a potential playmaker as well. Not an elite one but he wasn’t always going to be limited; think the lack of game time in his prime developmental years just stunted his growth so much in that department.

And obviously, the pace of play is completely gone.

He was leaps and bounds better than Lewa last season and the gap will widen this year, Kane is at his peak and Lewa is running out of gas, he will be 36 in 2 seasons.

Barca would take him, PSG and any PL team would take him with the possible exception of City. Easily a half dozen options.

Atletico Madrid is close to signing Javi Galan. A low key amazing signing. They are sending Manu Sanchez to Celta to lower the costs. Should cost them 7M or so plus Manu Sanchez

Fabio Carvalho being loaned to RB Leipzig

If United get bought by Middle East money and they haven’t yet got a long term #9 they’d throw a stupid salary at Kane on a free.

Again another example - LFC shopping at the top of the market and being surprised about the price tag. Examples of this keep on coming. This is the signing that they needed to prioritize and get done ASAP. It’s didn’t happen. Talked about him a couple of days ago. Completely the right player/profile. Need him badly. But does he make sense in a midfield with Alexis? Hard to say. But of course it doesn’t matter when you are trying to buy a Ferrari for the price of a Toyota. Absolutely insane that they aren’t using Carvalho to get this deal done.

Also this

As I also said a couple of days ago, indecision over too many targets allowing other teams to come in. Team had a ton of work to do this summer and they are wasting time counting beans because they are making this calculus

This is exactly what I talked about.

So LFC want Szoboszlai but don’t want to pay 60m. They just sent one of their best prospects to RBL on loan. And they want to see where the dust settles after u21 because to see how their targets transfer fees wind up. This is completely moronic

Kane on a free? I mean its a possibility but Lewa is still great and Rogue should be coming. THey may not want to spend on a 30 year old for big wages.
