I don't comprehend a transfer market where Hall is worth £30M but Lavia is worth £60M. I know they don't have the same role, but Hall is a potential world class talent.
Position? Gusto was 26. If they see Hall as an LB, he’s at 35.

Regardless it’s stupid. He’s definitely worth 55+

At 18 years old he played out of position at leftback, which he had never played before, and was in a few games the best player on the pitch. Easily our 2nd or 3rd best player in the last 1/4 of the season. He has his flaws, because he's 18, but the talent and effort from him is off the charts.

Lavia played a full season badly but teams don’t seem to care about how bad he was, all that matters is he has more experience than other players of similar age. It’s very strange. Jordon Ibe played a ton of games with no end product and look how that turned out.

18 at a position he's never played. Let's sell him!

Don't confuse easy riches like oil money compared to establishing a savvy business model. It isn't EPL's fault that BuLi can't get a good enough telly deal around the world to gather funds to spend on players. BuLi in the states is behind a pay wall and is considered an afterthought for ESPN to promote.

True that. Definitely no oil money behind the EPL's sudden rise. No sir EPL inflation is exclusively because of savvy business practices. If only the BuLi was also unaffordable for the fans!

 love you seph, but nobody wants what happened in England to happen to the BuLi. Although thankfully we're no tax haven, so even if clubs were allowed to sell majority stakes things wouldn't get as grim as they are in England.

The Liverpool meltdown is pretty funny in this thread. In particular the apparent certainty with which some people seem to know what's going on behind the scenes, only because they have an account on RAWK and read Twitter.

If ever a league could use some oil money, it's the Bundesliga to end the stagnation of Bayern winning everything outside of when they have an incompetent manager.

Nah, we're good. Other than Bayern being on auto-championship, which really seems to bother fans outside the league more than those that follow it, there's a great dynamic through the league. Bout the only given is FCB, BVB, RBL, and B04 are likely to finish in the top half or better, but pretty much anything can happen outside of that (like a 2nd division club vaulting themselves to European competition and even title contention within a short few years or traditional "giants" unable to marshal their resources enough to stop crapping the bed and sustain a run in the top flight). If it means being a "lesser" league and monotonous Bayern titles, so be it.

Poor Endo really getting a bit underrated as well. Yeah, he's 30, but has some really impressive numbers for defensive mids in the BL over the last few years and has been a real durable player as well. I think he'll do wonderfully for Klopp.

It depends on what they do the rest of the window. If he’s just a squad player, sure why not; but the problems ade

LFC bad at doing business/need to prove they can get other guys in

Endo takes up a precious Non-HG spot; LFC only have one left.

Buying backups before starters historically HAS NOT worked well for this team.

So it’ll depend on what happens next and no, there isn’t a ton of evidence the fans should be optimistic here

They also used to tell people for years that they didn't buy backups because there was no point to buy players to sit on the bench. So I mean how is someone not supposed to find this strange? They did bad business.

As for not having enough HG spots they should sell Matip when they bring in a CB.

He's 30 and never been mentioned on here I don't think... that doesn't bode well.

Well that's not too hard, like 90% of the players that get mentioned on here are only because of a link to an EPL team, or Barca/Real, or are French/German/Argentinian (and probably half of all those are because Arsenal are reported to be in on everyone and Chelsea are actually buying everyone). ;)

It is all reported by the most trusted source (Paul Joyce) around LFC, not random people on Twitter but go on believing that LFC/FSG are well run at this moment. 3 DoF in 2 years, two missed targets, one agreed transfer collapsing. A temporary DoF, but apparenlty it's all going fine right now at LFC.

Yeah I don’t have time to read LFC Twitter. During the week and during the day I have to prepare for work too much. Bad enough when I have to pause video to drop in some comments here. Everyone can see the club is a mess. They had some time where they got benefit of the doubt and now that’s over. If this player isn’t amazing our season is ruined. There’s only a few years left to win with these players. Last season we had the third highest average age for starters and we didn’t win anything, thats bad management. You can’t be surprised people are reacting this way.

If he’s it, there’s certainly a problem. I guess I rather get someone in the door at this point. He’s a much better player than you all are giving him credit for, and the fee / wage is likely pretty low. He also can play a couple spots
