What does Klopp have to do with them. Not buying him players? Fire klopp and lfc will be back fighting for 7th.

How much did this guy go for I can’t imagine he’d be cheaper than SA talents.

You sure about that?
They told him they signed Caicedo and that he could tell everyone, first time he ever talks about a transfer like that and then it turned out nobody talked to the player. I mean I’m really sure it’s not.

The only thing Klopp is guilty of is accepting people at the club lying to him over and over again.

Klopp hired Jorg. Jorg is a lemon. No one else wanted to work with them. He isn’t Teflon here

If no one wants to work with Klopp so we are stuck with Jorg, that’s worth looking at. Why did LFC burn through so many sporting directors ? something isn’t right here

Yeah when everyone knew they needed a CM two whole years ago, and last summer we needed a bunch and loaned in one. Now we let all our CM go and we’re signing a jabroni. Hilarious tbh.

Mate, I think you missed it. Madrid already signed Bellingham. And I don't think they'll sell you any of their other jabronis either.

It depends on what you find more believable. A man who is probably the best manager in 30 years for LFC whose run of success at its peak equalled an undefeated season. Or that an ownership that doesn't know what the f*** its doing right now with the Pittsburgh Penguins and Boston Red Sox also doesn't know what its doing with LFC. Ownerships get lucky all the time

When the loss of Mane signals the end you have failed as a club for even the most basic contingency

It depends. From the outside it looks fine. Apparently Klopp was held bent on re-signing Henderson instead of getting Guimaraes two summer ago. FSG overruled the DOF in favor of Klopp, they re-signed Henderson and Edwards (DoF) left the club because of it, he is the guy that recruited Salah, Mane, Robertson, etc. Also for the record, Klopp wanted Gotze instead of Mane and Brandt instead of Salah.

Now last summer, Klopp wanted Tchouameni and they could not get him. The recruitement team wanted to get Enzo Fernandez instead but Klopp insisted on waiting for Bellingham. They did not recruit any midfield but Arthur on loan on deadline day.

Now this summer, they decided to move away from Bellingham to get more than one midfield (or to be more precise Bellingham was out of price). The replacement to the DoF left one year on the job and they appointed a buddy of Klopp to take charge temporary for the summer.

Now LFC are scrambling to replace the experience of Henderson/Milner/Fabinho because they planned this summer recruitement like shit and missed on their two priority signing to Chelsea.

Yes, amazing, either you remove all power to Klopp and force him to only concentrate on managing the club or you start building another team with a new direction.

I believe that no one wants to work for FSG so Klopp had to hire his buddy and he isn’t good

We’re stuck with Jorg because sporting directors take jobs where they get to play around with some money. That is not this club because they are cheap. Maybe now more people will admit it to themselves.

Take it from someone who has to watch his baseball team rummage through the shit bin every offseason because its a cheaply run franchise that only hires friends of the same profile as ownership. No one wants to work for Klopp because everything he wants to do comes at the cost of his hands being tied behind his back by an ownership group that's more worried about the price they'll sell the team for.

They literally turned into the Rays

Right. Because no one wants to work for FSG. We wanted Steidten and he went to fn West Ham instead of us. Something is rotten

When the money runs out all you have is the price of loyalty.
They literally just bid 110 for Caicedo. There is a middle ground between Caicedo and Wataru Endo

I mean FSG traded Mookie Betts

They’re utterly clueless. There’s no point in thinking there’s any strategy going on here. If you have a plan you don’t wait until mid August to sign players from bottom table Bundesliga teams. What’s funny is that somehow fans of other teams have been brainwashed into thinking Liverpool has a strategy. Yeah they had one five years ago, not anymore. They’re living off what they did in the past.

Not to disagree with your general point, but Stuttgart have more talent than their placement would suggest. They've just been young, disorganized, and lacking leadership.

Yeah but right now I’m honestly just f***ing mad lol. I watched them a handful of times last season and didn’t think anyone really stood out so I’m shocked we’re going down this road. Knew the club would go cheap but was not anticipating this.

I actually think they had a decent shot for mid-table this season if Silas and Guirassy stayed healthy. Would suck to lose their captain 3 days before the season starts though.

I guess it depends on your perspective.
Lol 19 million for a player Jorg wouldn’t buy at Wolfsburg. We’ve been bamboozled
Yeah, thats crazy Varela was sold less than half. I get not thinking he's ready but you could've bleed him in.

They should've just prioritized Lavia and gotten that deal done, but how do you not have other options when you were willing to spend good money.

Twitter saying Ziyech failed another physical...

Because we are run by morons. They could have had Lavia for 50m a month ago.

I am all about giving second chance BUT what Manchester United is doing is promoting that behavior if they re-integrate him now without consequences. The smartest and most logical for Man United would have been to send him on indefinite loan. Let's be honest, if he was a bad to average player, he would already have been released.
Because you have a conscience. Those people do not.
