I think RLC is the type of player would have florished with another premier league team. He has all the physical attributes and technical attributes to be a very good player too bad he re-signed with Chelsea back then to become a bench warmer.
Eh, that theory is hurt by just how terrible he was at Fulham in 2020-21. Obviously it's complicated by it having been his return after missing a full season from the Achilles problem, but he was absolutely f***ing dire at Craven Cottage.

The far bigger "what if" with RLC is what if his Achilles hadn't popped in Spring 2019.

He's been perpetually injured as well though.

Just in case anyone still thinks that pro athletes aren't obsessed with silly internet stuff...highly rated 21yo swiss AM, Fabian Rieder, mentioned in an interview how proud he was to see his valuation on transfermarkt rise to 12M.

Nothing about that in Germany, but Davies agent has said that "certain clubs" are interested in the canadian...with City & Real being rumored...and Bayern's board are said to be enamored with Rice as they look for a 6 to free Kimmich up more.

If they're selling Mane, Gnabry, Davies, etc., that could open a lot of funds...but that rumored Rice figure is crazy.

1) If Arsenal get muscled out on Rice, I'd obviously rather it was to Bayern than another EPL team

2) That price tag is indeed daunting and if it's another Mudryk situation of missing out on the 100 mil player then getting somewhat better for less, I will obviously take it

Davies at Real? Yes please.

There also isn't a lot of elite full backs just casually available on the market. Davies is probably Madrid's best bet at getting one.

I have no idea what's happening with Hakimi's trial, maybe him? but I could see him staying at PSG for a while.

I am very "meh" on Hakimi.

That being said, he is BFF with Mbappé, so that could help us land the big fish in 2024.

Not sure how to feel about that. Leverkusen is my Bundeliga team and while he can be pretty good at times he can also be... well, kind of an idiot. Might be hard to root for him.
He has been really good relatively consistent the past year and a bit. Also less idiot moves form him in that time.

I'm happy he is moving on his own terms and not being forced out with animosity.

City and Real being rumored sounds like fan fiction; 2 big clubs that need a real LB. especially Real since Ake has done a good job this season as a LB but that could change next season..
Too easy
