Will be interesting what United do at keeper over the summer.

Can't imagine they sign DDG to a new contract.

Henderson still has a couple years, but I'm skeptical United will move forward with him as the starter given they've had a million chances to do it previously and haven't and also it's a little uncertain given how much time he missed with an injury that could potentially affect things like explosiveness. However, if United make moves to bring in another #1 (either DDG on a very short extension or someone else) even with the idea that they'll provide backup for Henderson, I have to think Henderson would just say no thanks and look for a permanent move away. He's been passed over multiple times already and I think he'd love to do something like sign for Forest long term and be cemented as their #1.
This is probably obvious but I’m really hoping for Diogo Costa. I feel like he wouldn’t be as good of a shot stopper as prime De Gea but that’s obviously changed the past few years.

Um okay?

So not for DOF/SD role? Feels like they want someone who isn’t available yet…

How much did you expect?

Multiple reports are confirming the links between Alexis, and LFC. The top two in Argentina and Fab. Brighton and Liverpool maybe haven’t in discussion yet but I think it’s a safe bet that Liverpool and Alexis are. Liverpool will definitely send an offer imo.
I think it’s likely. But I don’t think that’s how Liverpool do business. They also don’t have a sporting director yet either.

If Brighton want stupid money, it’s also not completely likely. Liverpool aren’t going to get fleeced.

Lol Messi is a joke. And how dare I posting that ESPN report huh?
I never seen that source cited once. Everything from any ITK source is saying he’s waiting for barca. Not surprised Jussi is the first to post it. Guy gets a hard on for Messi/barca more than D2M.

Anyway. There’s this no excuses no. Once they sell Raphina/Fati Messi will be back. Guarantee it.

I’d also say it’s a possibility that Torres gets sold too. The first two are goners

I'm sure he loves Barca.

But getting the GDP of a small country is also nice too. Especially when you don't have to worry about your dad screwing up the taxes or whatever.

He’ll get that anytime he wants. I think it’s pretty far fetched to think he leaves now when copa is looming.

I don't know. You're correct in he will get paid no matter what. But right now, the Saudi itching to get him and Ronaldo there at once probably isn't as exciting. They also likely think it's possible to get him there. So that means more money than if he waits.

Isn't AFP similar to Reuters, AP and PA? Seems more like he will end up in Saudi, there's also news coming out now that Busquets will be playing in Saudi next season as well.

Kind of hard to ignore it since every media in Finland was reporting the story and it was getting posted on the biggest sports messageboards. Plus it being AFP, a major news agency, lends it some credibility.

They may want him now rather than later but again it’s really doubtful. His dad denied it(I know) Fab, Romero, Gaston and Merlo all have come out and said nothing is decided. I think they would know more.

Busi is playing there either. It’s just baseless rumours as of now.

At this point, if Messi has no current intention to play in Saudi Arabia, just come out and say you want to stay in Europe and stay fit for Copa. The speculation is crazy. Personally, I'm 90-10 that he's going to Saudia Arabia. And it would be a goddamn shame. From best player at the WC to Saudi Arabia in six months would be so gross.

I mean, the Madrid aggregators kept saying Mbappé was a done deal and then he signed with PSG.

I am not sure I would take any report too seriously at this point. I do think Saudi and Barca are very much in play. I also believe that Tebas is willing to facilitate things to get Messi back in La Liga.

How everything will play out remains a mystery though. Barca cannot give Messi the type of money Saudi can. I doubt Copa is much of a factor in this decision. Messi will be on the squad no matter what.

Off brand the guy is just awkward anytime you see him off the pitch… look at that apology video.

It’s been reported by all the reporters who would know.

Saudi is an option it just won’t be now like the MLS. When inter Miami were “convinced” he was coming in November. Psg was convinced he’s signing in December. The guy is waiting for barca. The house is fixed well to a degree. Once they send him a contract he’ll sign it.

He will be in the squad but you want to be sharp getting there he knows this too

I think there is a lot of wishful thinking on your part my friend.

He might very well end up at Barca, but I would not be so sure at this moment. I guess we will know soon enough if Messi is Tiger Woods/Rory McIlroy or Phil Mickelson.

It was reported in France yesterday.
But I didn't feel like posting it to hear D2M deny it.
So I'll wait for the official word.
