On that note I think guaranteeing a playoff spot to a division winner is fine but giving them a home game just because is stupid.

Bill told him he shouldn't play QB.

Completely understand why Milroe would be pissed, but I think it also depends on what his career goals are. Does he want to be the starting QB at Alabama? Of course he gets the last laugh. Does he want to be an NFL QB? I'm not sure he has the passing skills (though of course I thought the same of Jalen Hurts), and maybe he has a better chance of making the NFL at WR and would be better off converting in college rather than the NFL. Not trying to defend O'Brien, but the reasoning might not have been as simple as "you suck at QB and should move".

I think he's going to be good, imo

If I had to predict:

AFC:

1. Baltimore
2. Buffalo
3. Kansas City
4. Jacksonville
5. Cleveland
6. Miami
7. Houston

@quietbruinfan sorry but I think the Dolphins are gonna lose the next two games and Cleveland will beat the Bengals.
No apology necessary. That is how I see it also. Dolphins are very beat up and not well coached. Bills game will be close however.

What’s your take on Mayfield as a FA here

I think he is
I'm a big fan of Baker, would love him on the Pats.

But any QB we bring in is going to be useless without real weapons. Evans and Godwin are leaps and bounds better than anyone currently on the Pats.

Wilson seems pretty cooked. He'd be a good option to bring in if they want to keep the tank going.

This is why they failed Mac. And until they surround the next QB with actual weapons on the offense? The same shit is gonna happen.

Yeah I don't even think they should take a QB this year. Get a top WR or a gnarly pass rusher then focus on building up the O-line.
The D and o-line were the least of this teams problems. It was their popgun offense that got them here. They need a QB1 and wide receivers. That needs to be the focus

The o-line definitely can be improved and this defensive roster will be at the bottom of the league if Belichick leaves.

The o-line is not consistent and was last in the league in the first part of the season, it is absolutely a problem and an issue.
I saw major improvement in the o-line as the season progressed. Unfortunately the shoddy QB/ WR play lead to losses in 2nd half of season. Could o-line be improved? Of course. Would I spend a top 5 pick on o-line player considering the glaring holes at QB and wide receiver here? Heck no.

If they end up picking 4th or 5th, I wouldn't necessarily be opposed to chasing Russell Wilson in free agency and drafting LT/WR early.

God damn the Lions draw up a sick game winning two point play and the idiot lineman didn't report as eligible.

John Parry is saying Brad Allen was looking at Skipper coming into the game and never heard/acknowledged Decker. Allen does run to the defense to tell them someone has reported as eligible so I do think it's possible he just never connected with Decker. Parry is saying this is a unique play where the onus is on the player to make sure the ref acknowledges him. Thank god this wasn't a playoff game.
