Phillies starter Bailey Falter faced 9 batters over the first 3 innings. Then faced 9 in the 4th inning without getting out of it. Damn that stretch.

Even facing a lefty, Sox still had 5 left-handed bats in the lineup.

Know Bleier gave up a shot to Schwarber. Lefty on lefty, not the result you’re looking for there. Littell’s start to his Red Sox career doesn’t look too hot on paper.

Still, Sox aren’t winning if you’re getting 5 hits, 4 LOB.
