Great question! I mean will they know the decision on Swayman before they make the offer ? That could have some meaning on what they offer him. But just going off of what they offered Swayman I mean your looking at what 1-1.2 like you said. lol
No they will not know.

Submissions need to go into the arbitrator 48 hours before the hearing and the arbitrator has 48 hours after the hearing to make the verdict.

So submissions for Frederic have to be in before Swayman's verdict.

Linus has had a better save percentages both seasons they played together. Shutouts don't mean much to me...because if he has more shutouts but still a worse save percentage that also means he has more stinkers.
Ullmarks was awesome a year ago, best goalie during the regular season in the league without question, but Swayman was pretty dam good as well and his record over 82 starts is arguably as good as any netminder in the game today over that same time period. Im just hoping they come to an agreement beforehand and Jeremy comes in somewhere around Samsanov deal, but a little higher.

Just wait till next July 1

Cost nothing in players and still get in as 7-8 seed

Makes no sense tradibg Carlo Zacha or DeBrusk

For what to get 1 or 2 seed instead of 7 or 8

BWAHAHAHAH
Debrusk is UFA and no word he wants to return...Same for Lindholm.

I take my chances on a center named Lindholm versus the winger Debrusk ....A Debrusk trade should help lessen the blow to prospects/roster players.

Come trade deadline should the team be out of the playoffs Lindholm will garnish more than Debrusk.

I am a huge Merkulov fan but unfortunately only @Saxon Eric saw him a bunch live and maybe 1 in 50 here could pick him out of a lineup

Love his upside and he’s legit center - best position

Swayman coming of a Jennings win and he's just plan and simple the better goalie who carries a career 920 save percentage to go along with 9 shutouts in only 82 starts and is only 24. Since making his NHL debut in April of 2020, he ranks second in the NHL in goals-against average (2.40) and fifth in the NHL with his .920 save percentage.

I'll stick with my 3.75
Edit: actually it might be a little low.

You do you and I'll do me . Way easier to put up good numbers behind Boston's D than Toronto's.

Just as an example, Toronto's D gave up about 50 more goals than the Bruins last season yet they had very similar numbers, that's gotta be worth something.

Other than those two, the list of centers available on the trade market that would be significant upgrades over their current options is quite slim, at least among pending 2024 UFAs. There’s also another Flame who could be available on the market in Mikael Backlund, but he’s not quite viewed as a bonafide number-one center despite his elite defensive capabilities.

I'm anxious to see this kid play...hearing good things from you, SE, prov B fans.

Perhaps he pushes this camp. Best thing that could happen.

That's very debatable plus Linus is making 5 mil per. Swayman has a lower career save percentage and a lower GAA and 3 more career shutouts despite having 100 less starts and last year alone Swayman had the better save percentage and more shutouts among the two. He also was chosen over Ullmark for the last two Bruins elimination games in the last two playoffs.

Come on man , stop cherry picking your stats. Ullmark spent most of his career in Buffalo. Is that the same as the privelige Swayman has had?

Also might be because you get the easier teams. Which is another thing padding Swayman's stats compared to Samsanov who got whatever.

Coyle was +29 yet started 74.4 in defensive zone

That boys and girls is a ballsy stat.

It’s never been done since statistics were kept.

That is a remarkable stat.

No Cherry picking going on. Swayman numbers speak for themselves and as far as Ullmark he’s outstanding during the regular season. The Bruins have the luxury of having two great goalies.
