Hopefully notIs krejci coming back?
With Bergeron retired what does everyone think they well do for center depth?
This is comedy, right? Is krejci coming back?
Krejci is/was a great player but not really a leader.I consistently said there was a really good chance he wasn't. Said they should have tried to get Krejci back and make him Captain.
They should have signed Bergeron for $3M, then LTIR'd him. Would have given them enough money to have kept Hall. God knows #37 deserves that freebe with the discounts he took.
One season. But let's not forget he used a number one to dump the corpse of David Backes as well.
Exactly.By my count, by the time we get to 2025, they will have traded away TEN Top 60 picks between 2018 and 2025. Five 1st rounders and five 2nds.
And essentially Hampus Lindholm to show for it.
He's also not a viable or reliable top 6 center at this point. Age and miles have caught up to him.Krejci is/was a great player but not really a leader.
Why is it comedy? He still has value on the PP and play well with #63\88 and both those guys could certainly drive that line. So Zacha and Coyle slot at 2C and 3C.This is comedy, right?
Did you not see him last year? He's not a top 6 player at this point. As for his PP abilities, that's been grossly overrated by folks here. He doesn't shoot. Teams shaded him to pass and it neutralizes his effectiveness. Why is it comedy? He still has value on the PP and play well with #63\88 and both those guys could certainly drive that line. So Zacha and Coyle slot at 2C and 3C.
I don't think its outrageous.
Sure, but #46 still adds value to the team.Krejci is/was a great player but not really a leader.
While he'd be the best center on the roster, that's not any high praise given what they have. He's cooked. He was terrible last year and couldn't stay healthy. Father time remains undefeated. If dk comeback we still in business.
Does he really though? They were up 3-1 in the playoffs without him. Lost the series when he returned.Sure, but #46 still adds value to the team.
He put up decent points he ain't cooked. While he'd be the best center on the roster, that's not any high praise given what they have. He's cooked. He was terrible last year and couldn't stay healthy. Father time remains undefeated.

Dude. Enough. If dk comeback we still in business.
What other better options do they have? Frederic, Beecher or Geekie? He is a lot better than those 3. He was old last year and still added value. I would rather go 46,18,13Exactly.

Did you actually watch his play or are you looking purely at stats? Something tells me it's the latter because he certainly wasn't driving that line. It was Pasta and Zacha. And when DK was hurt in the playoffs, the Pasta Zacha Bertuzzi combo drove the offense. When DK came back and was put in that spot, they suffered. He was constantly behind the play by 2-3 steps every game.He put up decent points he ain't cooked.
That's the point. Sweeney failed. What other better options do they have? Frederic, Beecher or Geekie? He is a lot better than those 3. He was old last year and still added value. I would rather go 46,18,13
down the middle than what they have now.
He had a 3pt night in game 7 when the team only managed 3 goals.Did you actually watch his play or are you looking purely at stats? Well yeah Sweeney failed drafting replacements. That has nothing to do with whetherDid you actually watch his play or are you looking purely at stats?
