Lou, when you’re pissed off that others are more positive in their outlook on things than you are, you need to take a step back. Respectfully.
I'm ecstatic about certain things and livid about others. I can't stand the everything they do is terrible group nor the blow smoke up your ass group. Doesn't effect me in the least, I just enjoy reading the the credible posters and there are plenty of them thankfully "things" is funny considering we are only talking about a thing, the Bruins

Hall and Bertuzzi not being here is a major mess up. their cap numbers are very affordable
Take the time to fudge the numbers, your gonna be surprised at how bad it was and how much better it is. Is it ideal? Of course not . But it's way better than it was and all things considered he did a remarkable job IMO.

Sweeney went all in with a full house but someone had 4 of a kind . It's happened to me before, it sucks but now you gotta make Lemonade with your Lemons. And as much as I call Sweeney out he was 100% right to go all in at TDL and he was 100% right to unload Hall which turned into.

Looch
JVR
Shattenkirk
Geek
among the others

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that those 4, who collectively will make about what Hall made, will help this team more than just Hall alone would. Donny played this one right too.

Monty is the deer in the headlights that needs to be called out on the floor along with the the guy(s) who hired him, oops.

He’s gonna get a lot more after next year, smart agent imo
Toronto gave him a 4.7M signing bonus along with the 5.5M according to NESN's article. That will hurt them next year even if the cap increases. Plus Bert will be a UFA again and will be looking for another deal with more term. Seems like he's put himself in the position to have to follow the money from team to team. So much for a nice stable life.

Remember when Steve Dangle was almost driven completely insane over that dumb 0 IQ move Marner made at his own blueline in round one which led to Tampa scoring 5 seconds later? Trying to feed Matthews who was mentally already in the OZ?

Add either Domi or Bertuzzi to that line.

Again it's a message board. It's ok to celebrate when they win a cup and ok to be apoplectic when they lose one. Doesn't make you any less of a fan. It's ok to have expectations and be pissed about not reaching them, especially on a message board where only the most rabid hang out... Nothing sports does can change anyones life IMO but I could be wrong.

I'll never be able to relate to sports fans who don't feel winning it all isn't what it's all about. That's how I felt in the 70's and now. I don't lose any sleep over it. I don't get sick over it, all in all it does nothing for better or worse.

Excellent post!

I used to lose sleep over it, thankfully not anymore.

Weirdly, if I’m reading you right lately, it’s why I’m looking forward to adding some vets including one who’ll bring the actual snarl back to the team for a fun year until we have way more options next season. So, I agree.

As long you keep your account and come back to defend all your moves.
Hey what do think of course I would ........I will take credit for the good moves and throw someone else under the bus for the ones that don't work out.......
