What a fing loser this chump is. Complete freud

"We (Boston) won the same number of series as Chicago, won't feel like a change at all." Foligno said.
He actually said this? If true, what an absolute loser. Guy was an anchor his whole time here.

They had to pay their top defenseman and top winger fair market value.

They have nobody on this roster that’s been drafted and developed that slots to be an impactful contributor on at or near minimum salary.

They’ve had how long to plan for the succession at the center position?

This is what you get.

Scotch tape and spare parts.

You let a playoff beast like Bertuzzi walk over dollars and cents because you refuse to trade Linus Skidmark.

I like Sweeney but he's got some massive blind spots
I really think he tried but no one was giving up shit with the Free agent market right around the corner. Id much rather seen him spend the Money on Duchene.

Scott Walker 4ever

I don’t even like Sweeney! I wanted him fired for Miller! I’ve said he’s gotten better every year on the job he’s been here, that’s accurate from what I’ve seen!

Why was Bertuzzi clearly “Plan A”? Because you said so? I’m sure they wanted him back at the right number but I guaranf***INGtee they didn’t hinge their entire off-season around him like you seem to think they did.

Do they still not have a number of guys to sign, including Bergeron and Swayman?

Also YOU SAW CREATIVE PROPOSALS ON HFBOARDS. COOL??? Aw man they should’ve just done them!

….Doesn’t make them realistic!
What made "pay through the nose to get rid of Forbort and go with 5 rookies" realistic?? According to YOUR words, it was "probably their plan"

And Bertuzzi being plan A? Because they were negotiating with him BEFORE FREE AGENCY. So if he had agreed, they would have had to make other decisions to make room! It's 1+1, dude. Not f***ing brain surgery. They wouldnt have attempted the negotiation (and TERM wouldn't have been the hangup) if there was no way to fit him in.

Also to repeat

ppl hate reality so bad. “Why didn’t the bruins do that??????” as if they can make a guy sign on the dotted line

Right now our 1C is Coyle and he’s gonna ride shotgun with Matthews to his new fat contract instead. I don’t blame him!
Seems you forgot:

Bertuzzi - Zacha - Pastrnak

Yeah that line was a disaster and he would have had to play with Charlie Coyle.

I didn’t say it would’ve been a good plan! But yeah it probably involved paying a lot of futures they can’t afford to surrender now after going all-in. And would that be smart to do on a team that isn’t a cup contender?

Also they probably talked to all of their free agents before free agency Lmao, give me a break. That doesn’t make all of them “Plan A”

they also seem to have money to pay the jags and anchors
Sure, but those are all deals that they handcuffed themselves with before this off season.

And they’ve already packaged assets to make a power play last deadline.

So what’s the answer, trade away even more picks to unload the bloating at the middle of the roster?

At some point the check comes due, and you’ve got to take your medicine.

Oh yes Pavel Zacha as your center is very comparable to Auston Matthews in a contract year, of course.

Which line would you rather play on if you’re trying to get points- Bostons top line or Toronto’s? Be honest, no lying allowed

The check has come due! Happened to the Pats when Brady left and we had infinity dead money. People have to deal with it.

It really is this simple.

People outraged with management because the coaches and players pissed away one of the greatest rosters ever assembled in the salary cap era.

People don’t understand that when you go all-in and lose YOU ARE NOT AT THE TABLE ANYMORE

THIS TEAM IS NOT GOING TO BE A CUP CONTENDER THIS YEAR. People must come to grips with it.

Oh so no longer Charlie Coyle at C?

And I'm the one being dishonest.
