Pasta 27 years old put 61 goals his age is absolutely perfect to sell at highest point and 61 goals is probably the highest he can reach. The stock is at the boiling point. Sell. Get a boatload for him and make this franchise even stronger for the now and future.
I honestly think you are the greatest troll in the history of trolls. I don’t mean that as an insult

If rumours of a franchise changing trade rumours, you would think Eklund would be chiming in on it ,kind of his thing but the only names he has mentioned that Bruins had interest in are Hanifan but he’s now saying the Leafs are more likely to get him and the other player is Sanheim .

Kessel got his cups in PIT on a pretty loaded team. His 3rd cup in VGK he played 4 games and didn't see the ice after the first round. Eichel was solid, but he also went to an already very good VGK team. He put them over the top, but there were very good before Eichel arrived.
Your framing almost made me forget Kessel should have won the Conn Smythe one of those runs on a stacked Pittsburgh team.

Eichel was solid on a stacked Vegas team? They missed the playoffs last year…

Bergeron was solid, but he was on a stacked Bruins team that was good for a few years at that point. Lol what player that wins the cup isn’t on a solid team?

It's not a popular trade for sure but winning sometimes hurts by trading some of our popular players. I remember trading Thornton was very unpopular but the team changed direction and got chara at free agency and voila Stanley cup. Anyways I surrender many of you dont like it so I'll stay on pasta bandwagon again. Love him but getting into the top 3 draft is too enticing for me. Anyways hoping we get a solid center because I'm feeling bad vibes that Dk wont return and I'll miss him he was one of the best bruins of all time.

Reading about trading 61-goal scoring Pastrnak from my fellow Bruins fans is making me crumble to my knees in uncontrollable disgust
For real it’s nauseating to read some of these posts. Pasta isn’t going anywhere period. Let alone some people want to trade him for a too pick in this draft….. you could only dream that one of these young kids develop into anything half as good as pasta

If he really wants to know, he can read/learn here, so many have pinpointed his huge F-ups during the playoffs. I would never expect him to come here and read the comments about it but....

Kessel should have won? Crosby at 3 less points than Kessel that year, was strong in the dot and led PIT in game winning goals during the playoffs. Doesn't change the fact that PIT was a very good team even before Kessel.

Yes they missed the playoffs last year and the year before that they made (due to COVID, what was equivalent to) the Conference Finals. The year before that they also made the conference finals. So in 2 of the 3 prior seasons they made the conference finals without Jack Eichel. Tells me that VGK already had a pretty good team and again Eichel put them over the edge.

You missed the entire point of my post. these guys that "people said you couldn't win with" (all be honest I have no idea where the poster heard that about Eichel) we're added to already successful teams. Its not like they joined bad teams and turn those franchises around.

I mean like 9th circle of hell evil. We're barely into circle 3
I may have to move the MBTA up to the 10th circle (I know it doesn't exist) to put HF Bruins at 9..

I mentally prepared myself that no one is untouchable and whatever happens happens

I understood your point and I thought it was a funny way to discredit two players that were runner ups for the Conn Smythe.

I know it ain't gonna happen unfortunately. We gotta tank to get one of these stud young centers. Anyways I got high hopes for poitras to take the reins. Kid put 95 points in ohl and has signed a entry level deal. Keeping an eye on him.

Lots of cap space and signing bert and sway and getting a solid 1A potential center for now and future . Team gets better.
The concerning part is you want it to happen

How bad of a look would that be for the franchise though? You sign your star player to the riches deal in team history so he doesn't make it to FA.... only to turn around and trade him to an NHL cellar dweller before his NMC kicks in.
Sounds similar to when they traded Joe Thornton IIRC before his NTC kicked in?
