I really think Cam Allen is going to be the #1. I get Bowen Byram feels from him and I think he will go top 5. Not for sure because of talent but I think one team is going to go for need on defense and he will be the top D available. I think he will explode this year

Comparing Allen to Byram is a little nutso. You never watched Allen apparently.

Allen is a smaller Weber. His compete is the core of his skillset.
Byram is all skills, skating, IQ, much higher ceiling for Byram.

Dahlin and Byram are quite similar.

Connor Bedard is already at 5 goals in 3 games. He's gonna finish the season with a goal/game pace if everything goes well, he is that good.
The lottery at the end of the season will be the most important event for the Habs in the last 29 years.
He's on McDavid level.
Also we need to keep in mind he will be 17 for the duration of the season, won't turn 18 until AFTER the draft.

Bolded part is what's insane. You'd think he'd be older with how dominant he is against his peers

Will you guys be cheering for Toronto and Boston over Florida this upcoming season?

And side question - will you be cheering for Montreal over Florida? Like if it's midseason and Montreal is 25th and Florida is 12th

His wrist shot is already Matthews like. He f***ing slingshots it into the net. Future 40-60 goal scorer. It's sick.

He's no Shane Wright

I'm having a hard time remembering a draft as hyped as this one. Seems better than 2015 even.
Having two picks in the first round is gonna be critical to the future

2003 was an absolute circus of hype too. And it delivered, it produced HOF/stars through the 2nd round non stop.

2022 seems to have the same projections.
Think you mean 2023 😉

I know I'm not really relevant, but I'd find it weird to draft Will Smith, just because of his name. At least he's not named Kenny West.

Maybe he'll be our pick with our second first rond pick. Looks like a an NHLer.

One of the top dman in the 24 crop making the jump to the OHL. It was expected since his older brother played in the league but still, it's a pretty big get for Sudbury to have him right away as a 16 year old. Too bad it's kind of a crap organization
