So after McKenzie released his rankings does anyone want to do their Top 10 as of now?

1. Bedard
2. Michkov
3. Fantilli
4. Carlsson
5. Sale
6. Dvorsky
7. Gulyayev
8. Yager
9. Halttunen
10. Benson

I feel like this will change a ton by the end as more games are played. Gulyayev is someone I'm picking on instinct because I doubt I'll be seeing much at this point (think he'll be the falling gem), but we'll see.

So you are saying that being point per game player as 17yo with 3rd line minutes, without pp time, in one of the euro top leagues is less impressive then playing against kids? So far based on competition and production he is top 3 pick, and there is nothing you can do to prove me wrong.
Embarrassing..

idk if it's true or not, I'm inclined to say it is in this instance. Such f***ing bullshit man...

This Tishkin is just a pr guy, he hasn't served in army and can't be recruited. He knows it and still writes this bs. Probably wants to become another "regime's victim" and gets out of the country.

As to a doctor, most Russian doctors have military ranks. I doubt Avangard let him go though.

I understand Michikov could be the best player in this draft but given the situation in Russia he'd have to be around 10th before i'd consider picking him

Imagine if he fall to the 1st pick of the Panthers
One can dream,

but seriously if you can’t have him on your team until 2026 and you don’t have a ton of control over his development during those years then you may be better off taking someone who has similar upside but is available sooner. Drafting him would be like taking an Owen power 1st overall then having him stay in the NCAA for 3 years not bad on development but definitely risk of stagnation

If we can grab him with the Panthers pick, I'm drafting him at 100 % (Would even trade up to be sure to grab him). He's gonna play with a top team in the KHL so I'm confident that he can develop well with them. That pick could be a franchise changing pick when he will come in the NHL

Yep, if he's available at the panthers pick I snag him

1. Bedard
2. Michkov
3. Yager
4. Carlsson
5. Fantilli
6. Allen
7. Dvorsky
8. Ritchie
9. Sale
10. Benson

The difference I see thus far between my list and others:

I value Yager more than most, it's been like this for over 7-8 months. I think Yager's mix of speed, skill, and shooting will transpose exceptionally well to the NHL. While he doesn't fill the stage with highlight reals plays, he's efficient at a level that I don't see Carlsson or Fantilli reach. He's there every game, we saw this at Hlinka as well. I expect Yager to make the December WJC team as a 17 year old.

I rank Carlsson ahead of Fantilli: Carlsson's IQ progress is too impressive in the big picture - and Fantilli doesn't have a speed or size advantage.

I rank Allen a bit higher, I think he's a stud, too much compete to fail - these guys transpose extremely well in the NHL. (Look at Schneider vs. our Guhle...)

Allen to me complete the "group of 6" as I call them, who are nearly NHL players already, Bedard and Michkov are probably already very productive ones.

Then I have this group of guys with elite ceiling but clear things to work on: Dvorsky, Benson needs to get faster, Sale needs more strength to be a top 10 this year (to beat Stramel, Stenberg, Wood etc.), Ritchie needs to position himself better.
