Maybe closer to the draft if we decide to trade Josh Anderson, but I don't see us getting a 1st at the TDL with the players we will move

Hope he got a good start of the season, he's the type of player with his contract that could get a 1st at the TDL.
Minn's fans were very nervous this Summer when Kaprisov was stuck in Russia for few days...
It is a new world right now and it could get worse so I would not touch to Michkov in the top 5 no matter how great he is.
It really depends of the year Dadonov and Monahan are having.....they are the only 2 that could realistically get us a 1st.
Anderson is not going anywhere IMO.....they need veteran presence, you simply can't trade everyone away and let the kids man the ship.

It's a fluid situation and the Russians are already playing their last cards. By the time Michkov is available to play in NA this crisis will be over (hoping he can get a special status vs. being sent to war).
I would take Michkov #2 even with the insane situation going on. I don't think Fantilli is in the same tier and I would wait for things to clear up regarding his contract and his ''dues to his country''. In the end it might not be as nightmarish a situation as we make it. Usually there are problems with players who are viewed as either enemies of the state or who are against the propaganda machine (à la Panarin). Maybe Michkov is different and has served his military obligations and other ridiculous things that the dictatorship demands.

I can think Carlsson is building a case that he might be much better than Fantilli in the end.

About Carlsson vs Fantilli: Carlsson is way more slick and clever. Fantilli at this point is a collection of awesome physical traits. The good thing about these two is that they're playing at levels that tend to weed out the fakes.
