Oh haaa haaa tee hee tiddily winks. I was asking if they had high ceilings
Depends what you feel is a high ceiling.

Cristall could become a 1st line offensive winger, but I think that the chances are low. Dvorsky will likely be an all-situation 2nd line centre.

Honestly with guys like Cristall possibly falling to the Panthers pick... Not sure I want to move it for PLD. This draft was hyped for a while but it's crazy to see it still back the expectation up this late into season. Legitimate multiple top 5 pick types available later like the 2015 draft.

I’ll take the 25 year old likely 70 point power centre over the undersized winger whose floor is AHLer.

2024 would do it for me. Stack your eggs up in 2023, 2024 is getting far from contention window. 2024 top 5 or 10 protected. Im sure the Peg would like that.

Agreed. Optics of getting 2014 first round pick from one of the worst teams in NHL should be easy to sell for their management too.

Honzek looks alot like KK, great hands, but so raw, tall and lanky. Still unsure where to rank him TBH. probable in the 15-20 range at that point.

Exactly who he reminds me of too. More I watched him more I saw KK in his draft year. Right now, I'm a no on him in top 15 just because of that.

He looks exactly like KK. Same build, same type of game, needs to build leg strength....

I think under different circumstances a lot more people would be talking about Gulyayev

He has the tools that a lot of posters here go crazy for, just tough to see us drafting a smallish LHD from Russia

Nah, Gulayeyev aint it. Its the lack of D that actually has people overrate him.

Simashev is a perfect blend of tools.
Honzek too but lacks a bit of a shot.
Perrault has the best tools in the smalelst body. Hes soft but super smart. Very, very good passer and transition player.

So where should Simashev go ?
