But what if he's there with the FLA pick once we draft let's say Benson first?

Benson-Suzuki-Slafkovski
Caufield-Dach-Barlow

Add maybe Dubois + Farrell + Roy + Beck + Heineman + RHP and Kidney and that offence is pretty good no?

Depends on whos there still. Hes an option for sure.

With that said, with another late first or an early 2nd you could get a similar profile of player that could fit in well with the boys and have another shot at a great play driver.

Yager, Wood, Ziemmer, Ritchie, Honzek, Gauthier, Leonard and Musty, to name a few other that have somewhat of a powergame/size Suzuki+Caufield need.

With that said, the Habs did spend their most valuable asset in the past half century to draft a guy with that profile so idk whats up with that.

Vancouver taking him ahead of our own pick would ease some of the pain of missing out on the big boys at the top
Vancity cant seem to do a single thing right so Im sure they could lmao

Hockey is disgraceful sometimes. Treycen Wuttunee of the Oil Kings hits some Winnipeg player cleanly, and it's a big hit that drew the ire of Ostapchuk. 6'3'' Ostapchuk instantly drops the gloves and starts whaling on the guy. Wuttunee is a 16-year old kid who has all but 12 games in the WHL and is 5'6'', 140 pounds soaking wet. He was knocked out after getting an uppercut from Ostapchuk. Ridiculous, the kid was most likely concussed after this shit.

-100 to professionalism

He's so getting asked about that at the combine interviews.
I hope he falls because of this. Let him fall to #7. Very unprofessional of him.

Might bust because of this.

I have inside knowledge on Carlsson guys, hes not a consummate professional, rumour has it he wont commit to the NHL because Sweden is going to war with Denmark for old sakes time.

Take this to Twitter and mass spread this shit, we need to be working 24/7 on spreading the news, multiple accounts a day, we need our best coders on this. Take out a loan nobodys going to work.

Did Wuttunee drop the gloves? Otherwise Ostapchuk should get a suspension.

He managed to get one glove off but Ostapchuk was already throwing punches before he could defend himself. Ostapchuk ended up getting an instigator.
Im all for defending your teammates on a dirty hit but you gotta be reasonable. Equivalent of Laracque wrecking Marchand. Thats stupid and would never happen in the NHL. The league needs to step in.

I still like a lot of people more but I can live with it. I just don't want him with our selection.

That would be my dream scenario if we miss on the top3. Benson has all star potential and I know there's concern with Barlow, but he knows where to be in the Ozone and has a tremendus shot + size. Perfect mix of size and skills for a draft. I would also be temped by a defenseman with the Florida pick.

Need more info on those guys :

Simashev (read many good things about him)
Honzek
Gabriel Perreault

Interesting enough they have 4 goalies and only 1 LD as top 32

Gabe Perreault has incredible offensive awarenesses, has great passing/shooting skills and scoring instincts. A bit like Smith, he plays a skills game and not the most physically or defensively engaged. Wont make the highest % plays at time, especially when it gets tighter. I dont really considere him with the Florida pick personally, there are kids I like better.

Honzek is all potential, he is extremmely green and will need time to reach the NHL, physically he looks a bit like KK in his draft year, he is tall and a bit lanky, but still strong enough and isnt effraid to engage physically. Had a late growth spurt, went from 6'1 160 lbs to 6'3.5 186 lbs in the last year, so there is alot of room to fill his frame over the next few years, what makes him extremmely attractive as prospect. Kid has great hands, a long reach and skates well, plays a simple effective north south game, good passing skills and not effraid to go in the dirty areas.

Simashev is a perfect blend of tools.
Honzek too but lacks a bit of a shot.
Perrault has the best tools in the smalelst body. Hes soft but super smart. Very, very good passer and transition player.

Thanks for the video on Heidt. It’ll be between him and Danielson at this point. Maybe Musty too.

If we are bound to draft 8-11, i would be happy with either of Barlow or Dvorsky.

I have Dvorsky ranked at 6, so I would grab him or Reinbacher with our own pick and Barlow is a legit canditate for the Florada pick, I would prefer one of Leonard, Moore, Brindley though.
