Good list but need to get Reinbacher in there somewhere, he's top 15-20 on most newly updated lists

Very good list. Barlow a little bit too low for me…

Habs are now playing for .500 while the Pants are now 1 game over .500 and I read somewhere that they have the toughest schedule for the remaining of the season while we apparently have the 3rd hardest one.
Where did you see that?

How would we feel about this?

I like Leonard at 11, but maybe there are better options, my knowledge of this draft is limited, thats too deep and basically impossible to assess so many players without Instats, so dont really rely on me to end up with a decent 1 round list, I will probably end up with a top 10 after the world championship, but thats about it

I think it would be disappointing to come out of the draft with those two. Leonard is a fine prospect, but Wood seems like someone who should be further down the draft board. Cristall would be a better option than both.

Edmonton wasting a pick on Cameron Allen, on the other hand, seems like a typical Oilers move.

I think it was posted a couple pages back ITT but here's another one: NHL Remaining Schedule Strength | Tankathon

Various sites try to go at it predicting remaining schedule strength based mostly (entirely?) on current standings and how many times they face each team. Teams high are considered "strong" and vice versa.

While far from any guaranteed outcome, it's an interesting thought exercise and the easiest way to guesstimate how the standings could evolve in the future.

Thanks for sharing. I've never really looked at anything on tankathon except for the lottery simulator. Habs and Panthers 1-2 in difficult schedules. Panthers are in very real danger of missing the playoffs from here on out!

A friend clued me into it a few weeks ago.
So far so good as both FLA and us have been steadily dropping the standings.
Hopefully we keep up that pace.🤞

I like your tiers. The top 18 is looking really good. If we pick outside of it, Id go for one of the two Gs.

If you’re Hughes, do you pick Hrabal or Bjarnason over Gulyayev if available at 18?

Jesus no. I do want a good goalie in this draft but if Gulyayev drops out of the top 10 this is gonna be a steal. Russian factor is possibly gonna make him fall, but this guy has legit top 2 offensive dman written all over.

I think Wood is more around 25, Leonard, I have ranked 21. Not super interested in these players at all. I'd rather go Heidt, Pellikka

Suzuki, Dach, Heidt, Beck <== Heidt is on the Suzuki train of development in a 2 way threat, much more valuable than Wood or Leonard.

Pellikka looks like an offensive leader from the Blueline, that's the missing piece, I'm betting on another one, and hopefully one of Hutson or Pellikka will be it.

I like both RyLeo and Mathieu Bois but Id be hella freakin mad if thats what the Habs had as a haul after the shit year we are having. On that list, Cristall and Heidt would be better, more exciting picks.

Goes to show that we absolutely need to get at least one pick in the top 10.

Gulyayev reminds me Heiskanen a bit. Gosh he skates well!
Well aside from the fact that he's 5'10 and nowhere near as fast, and, and, and...

Unless I caught him on really bad days, Gulyalev isn't even close to a top 10 pick. And thats coming from the guy that overrates russian smallbois the most.

Speaking of which, any impressions so far on Alexander Rykov, Roman Kantserov or Nikita Nedopyokin?

Only caught one game in the MHL, so I cant tell you for everything. Really fluid however. My comparison was more towards the skating stride. Cant say if he is a top 10 or not, have not followed them too much so I will take your words!

A great skater to my eyes and very similar to Heiskanen for the skating. He is 84 in the video for the one who never saw him! Sorry for my poor editing haha

Yes he is a great skater and very fluid, Heiskanen is just a ++++++ skater. He may be thr 2nd or 3rd fastest player in the league.
