Think Moore ends up top 10 by the end too.

You have the big 4: Bedard, Fantilli, Michkov and Carlsson. Then Smith, Benson, Barlow, and Moore are in, I think.

That's 8.

That's all I'm projecting for now, like to keep it open for 2nd half.

There's a mix of players for the 2 last two spots, including Yager, Sale & Cristall.

Dvorsky, Allen, Ritchie have dropped.
Surprised with Ritchie. You were pretty high on him start of year

Speaking of goalies and USDP guys...

Anyone have thoughts on Trey Augustine? He could probably be had with a 3rd round pick.

Size will hold him back in the draft, as he is only 6'1, but he has been far and away the best goalie for the USDP team.

In 13 games this year, 12 wins and 1 tie. 1.95 GAA, and .933 sv%.

Similar profile to Drew Commesso, who has been good but not great for BU this year.

As for the USDP forwards

Will Smith

Oliver Moore
Gabe Perreault

Ryan Leonard

Nard is a great finisher but doesn't really create offense on his own like Moore. He and Perreault benefit huge from playing with Will Smith, who is clearly the cream of the crop.

Sale is getting hampered by playing for a conservative team that doesn't develop youngsters well from what I've gathered, every time I've seen him I always think there's excellent potential. Not a burner on the wing but good enough skater to allow his vision to go to work.

He seems like a Martin Havlat type to me. I'm interested in seeing what he does at WJC. Czech league is so boring to watch. Lol

I was, which was based off his play-off performance last year, but he's struggled offensively this year, and hasn't shown a willingness to get inside, and hasn't really shown a lot of creativity.

He's been great defensively and in transition, but that projects to a 2nd/3rd line tweener and not a top line forward, which is what we need with our 1st pick.

He's a big guy with a great shot though.

I never give up on players this early. I always leave room for improvement. He needs a better 2nd half though.

Maybe take Richie with our second first rounder?

I’ve been watching them religiously 😂.. even went to bed late to watch their OTL vs Edm the other day. I noticed today that they are the 2nd team with the most goals allowed in the East.

God, my dream is two 10 top picks! Or, even better top 5! But, I expect there's to be 15-20. Still great.

Man, can you imagine if we win one lottery spot with our pick, and one with theirs? They'd have to finish 11th though. You can only move up 10 spots. DREAM!!!

Winning one of the lottery pick would already be exceptionnal, even de 2nd lottery pick (Fantilli, Michkov or Carlsson). With the other one, probably between 12 and 20, you take the best player available and drink champagne.

Can't seem to put up the image for whatever reason, but according to a post on Reddit, the Habs have the 2nd toughest matchups in the league for the rest of the season. The #1? The Panthers.

The 1st and 2nd overall dream lives on!

EDIT : there you go

If we get 7th OA and don't win the lottery, is Michkov still on the board? I would take him in a heartbeat and I don't care if he develops in the KHL with his contract.

I believe Button's latest ranking has Michkov ranked 5th?

The dynamics to this is hard to nail down. Schedule (back/back) and injuries play a factor. Every team has different confidence/momentum as the season moves along. Every team has different assets and structure of play that may or may not line-up well against us too.

Fun to look at but the only way to look at it is game after game. I think we have a better picture come Jan or close to half way point. At that point, we might be making trades or have injuries to key assets. We will see how this unfolds.

Nah this all but guarantees us 2 top 5 picks 😎😎

Let me dreeeeaaaaaam

Oliver Moore at 11th OV is the highest I saw him ranked, he is starting to get some recognition. Also, it looks like one of the top goaltenders could be available with our 2nd round pick, thats a strong draft and since goaltenders are more of a crap shot, I could see it happening.

There were a bunch of guys flirting with 2ppg in the WHL early on, but now there's only two left standing. This draft year is seriously spoiling us.
But but can he play defense? How Is he battling for pucks? What about his IQ, does he have some technical jerk in his game or he makes the right plays? You know me, I want to know the global picture, Im not doubting his offensive talent.

No, but I heard he can fight.
