I like your tiers. The top 18 is looking really good. If we pick outside of it, Id go for one of the two Gs.

If you’re Hughes, do you pick Hrabal or Bjarnason over Gulyayev if available at 18?

Understand the standings are far from settled, but, anyone else pondering the dealing of our two firsts to crack the top 5?

Am i the only one who thinks Dragicevic would be the perfect fit for us outside the top 10?
I would prefer a center with our 1 th choice but with Florida ´s pick ,Dragicevic would be an interesting option because we have to fill our prospect bank with right-handed defensemen.

I’m kind of split between Dragicevic and Hrabal for our 2nd pick… We really need a 3rd pick.
Maybe with Monahan or Edmundston?

Monahan playing very well, he will be in high demand but team might try to low ball us a little bit more, but I think we could get still get a 1st...

I think there is way too many team with cap and defensive issues for us not to be able to land a 1st + with Edmundson this years, and I think that with this draft adding picks ASAP would be better waiting a year just seem like a waste.

I personally value Michkov more highly than Fantilli and would take the former 10/10 at #2, but preferring Fantilli isn't that absurd of an opinion. Especially with the way Fantilli is dominating the NCAA. We're not talking about an average prospect here. However, I must say that I think Michkov is a franchise-level talent, and will be the type of player you build your franchise around.
Yes. Michkov has the Kucherov flair. Hard to tech hockey IQ.

Will Smith's puck skills and offensive awarenesses are off the chart, kid is 2-3 yrs away in term of strength/power, needs to get better in the dots, work a bit on his 200 ft game, but he could pretty well be worth the wait and end up as one of the top players in this draft, so WTK's ranking at 5 is not far fletched IMO, kid is a bit green, but the upside clearly huge.

I talked him up last year while watching him in a few games where he moved up from the U-17 team to the U-18 team.

I haven't seen any of this years U-17 team yet but hear a ton of hype on Cole Eiserman ('24) and I want to see James Hagens ('25) who's putting up some serious numbers so far for the just turned 16 year old.

Team USA -

Will Smith (#2 blue) - 2 assists, 2 shots, +1, 5/17 FO's
Gabe Perreault (#4 blue) - 2 goals, 3 shots, +2, 1/3 FO's
Ryan Leonard (#9 blue) - 1 goal, 1 assist, 4 shots, E, 1/2 FO's
Oliver Moore (#11 blue) - 2 goals, 6 shots, 4 pims, +1, 7/14 FO's

These 4 kids were underrated in a lot of draft lists. I think that’s gonna change..

The announcers from the 5 nations were talking about him a whole lot during the USA vs Finland game (he was in a U17 tournament). They showed some highlights of his goals and he looked way too strong for the competition. I think they said he broke a record for goals (not 100% sure).

Eiserman tied Ovechkin's goal scoring at u17s. Both got 12 goals. However, Ovechkin did that in 5 games. Eiserman in 7.

Ilya Kovalchuk and Colin White are next on the list at 10 goals. Caufield had 8 goals.

He would have the points record but Hagens beat him to it. Record was 18 pts held by Colin White. Hagen finished with 21 pts (7 games). Eiserman with 20 pts.
