Yeah, I liked their first two picks but curious why they didn’t draft any D in round 2 or 3.

Kevin Korchisnki, Nolan Allan, Sam Rinzel, Ethan Del Mastro, Alex Vlasic, Wyatt Kaiser all in the system right now. Fairly crowded on the blue line. It was the overwhelming strength of the Hawks prospect pool coming into the draft.

Surprised a combine superstar like Cam Allen took this long to go. I guess there's the "trending down" element from being a former GTHL darling (hello early January birthday) that hasn't made a big leap in the OHL to date. Physical traits are hard to match though.
