Poor Milicic has to watch his backup get drafted while he has a good chance to go undrafted in his third go-around despite all he's accomplished at the Junior level.

Sabres... what !?!.... goalie Ratzlaff... whos your scouts, Hawks need one of those
-did he fell because of his size?
He measured about 2 inches lower than he had always been listed.

I don't get how a team doesnt draft Milic now in these final rounds... There is nothing to lose and he's proven to excel.

Even if they feel he is a long shot to ever play in the NHL, he's a great person to draft to play well in the minors for affiliate teams and potentially push to be an NHLer

Edit- he was finally just taken by WPG

could have really flunked on the interviews, Has happened before.

perhaps its nothing but him falling so far smells fishy to me.
Lol or the Canucks got a steal. Interviews can sometimes be overrated. Look how Philly got Michkov lol

Carolina keeps drafting the lily White Russians, wow

There are sure a lot of Russians at the draft...didn't Putin put a lid on them or did they have to pay or promise of money to him when they sign or move to NAmerica

Jacob Fowler in Round 3, Quentin Miller in Round 4, Yevgeni Volokhim in Round 5.

Guess they're taking a shotgun approach to finding somebody.
Well they started with the Defense and have their 6-8 youngsters now they need Goalies since Cayden Primeau doesn't look like the one for the Future

Macklin Celebrini's brother Aiden went to Vancouver at 171.

Just being a non-demoted roster player for the USNDTP U18 gets you drafted these days, lol. Any kid offered a spot would be a fool to turn them down.

The Milic pick was a good one, the way tending has been at the nhl level the last few years it may just shift back to more athletic who cares if you are huge, though the early parts of this draft have been just that, just pick the towering 6'5" monster.
