Smith has everything you want, size is juat ok at 6'0 but what if he grows an inch ?
Elite shot, elite IQ, super creative.
Our GM gave Smith more praise than Fantilli. He called Smith 'fast' along with creative.

I’m fine with it. I wanted Michkov but Briere made it sound like he wanted to be a Flyer. There were rumblings about him being picky. Maybe he was. Smith is not a bad pick at all. He’s got a huge high ceiling and gives us our potential 1C who is extremely dynamic.

But the flyers are also my number 2 team so I’m stoked

I think for Flyers use 7th overall it is correct call to draft Michkov. And I really hope Michkov will will succeed there (If he is not pro-Putin)!

But we don't have to worry too risky draft pick and there is more team control. Also our largest need was 1C. Now that is hopefully solved.

I'm also excited to see who we will pick with our NJ 1st!

Decently. Certainly not upset. He has legit 1st line potential, just a pretty risky pick as he thrives with time and space, something he won’t have in the NHL. He’s very boom or bust.
