No Sh!t Jay, "IF" the Penguins were giving up a 2nd and 4th plus Kapanen for futures the Hawks would take it. What kind of scoop is this? Good source Jay!
Kapanen would replace AA or Domi at 3.2 for next season, then they flip him for half at the TDL.

Kane and Domi finally seem to be gelling lately, as Domi isn't just trying to be the guy with the puck or only shooting like early on.
But how does Kane feel if Domi is another linemate traded if that happens in a day or 2 with time before the deadline

IIRC Florida sent a conditional 1st to the Flyers. I'd hope to get a 1st with no protections if possible.

Tampa Bay’s 2nd in 2023 is currently pick #60. Rangers 2024 first belongs to St Louis. Rangers could conceivably re sign Kane and make it to the conference finals in 2024 making their first rounder #30
Patrick Kane has got to be worth more than moving up 30 spots. Also the 2023 draft is really deep so a player available at #60 could potentially be comparable to an early 2nd rounder in 2024 anyway.
