That´s a big guy (Damphousse)! Many times the big guys have an advantage at this age. But not always. It will be interesting to follow him. i´m a little afraid that we sometimes (at least in Sweden) miss some of the smaller guys at this age, that have the technique, the hockey sense but are just to weak at the moment. Also interesting with Nurmi! He´s not that big (if the numbers are correct at EP) so will try to follow him through this year. In Sweden we are looking forward to the TV-pucken. But the latest around that is that the tournament might be cancelled due to Corona.

In Sweden Noah Erliden (HV71) is the best goalie i´ve seen yet. Today the Swedish Ice Hockey Association announced that the tournament TV-pucken will be delayed one month. But it will get off. That will be interesting. The 2005 year group in Sweden is in my opinion a strong one. But maybe not on the goalie side.

Who should I look out for next season? Not too familiar with this group outside of Erliden, Stenberg and Forsfjäll.

i´ve done a couple of messages earlier in the thread when i listed the guys that plays in Sweden that impressed me when i watched them. And of course there is others. And som of the listed might not be there the coming season depending on how they trained and developed during the summer.

Borna Kopac (Täby HC, forward) - smart, skilled player from Slovenia but he got injured last season and missed all season almost. From Slovenia

Lucas Stockselius (Täby HC, forward) - Good skater, and ha can both score and set up his team mates. Played with Borna Kopac and together they are hard to stop. From Sweden
Lucas Stockselius at eliteprospects.com

Dalibor Dvorsky (Linköping HC, forward) - great skater, sees the ice but maybe a little less dominant now (Folke Filbyter) compared to last time a saw him (Uplandia). From Slovakia and played for Zvolen at the end of last season. I think he´s heading back to Sweden if the rumors are correct.

Anton Petrini (Djurgården, forward) - nice hands, good hockeysense. From Sweden and changes team from AIK to Djurgården for the upcoming season.

Teodor Munther (AIK, goalie) - best goalie in Folke Filbyter from my point of view. Competes all the time. From Sweden

Took a quick look at the big regions (Stockholm, Gothenburg & Småland) the other day. Have to say I was rather underwhelmed, not many players stood out. Definitely fewer than last year at least. Gothenburg had a pretty talented top line center (didn't have the lineup so not sure who it was). The one player who I thought really stood out though was Joel Svensson in Småland, finally an offensive center with great tools to build on. Småland had overall the most impressive team, there's a couple of other players there to look out for.

Interesting. I saw some games from the training games and cups this weekend. And can only agree. Stockholm is not that good as last year. And that is the same i hear from inside the Stockholm icehockey community. Gothenburg probably a bit stronger than last year. And the first line is Otto Stenberg and Dower Nilsson. Agree about Småland. But the best team i saw was Värmland. I watched Värmland - Gästrikland. Värmland shot 19 shots in the first period. Gästrikland one! They played with another level of speed and power compared to any other team i saw this weekend.

IT feels like Gothenburg is gonna dominating in tv-pucken 2020. Strong skilled players that had played together on the tournaments when they were younger.

Yes, you might be right. They can win the whole thing. But i see now a misstake from my side. Otto Stenberg is not playing for Gothenburg. He will play for Bohuslän/Dalsland.

You ought to calm down a bit. FYI Samuel Barcik is a very talented guy and surely a player to watch. Possibly the best 05 Slovak D at the moment.

and you want to post for each kid 2005 who is going for a tryout?
FYI Jakub Dvorak is also very talented D but I don’t pop his eliteprospects page, everytime when he goes out of the country

The thread is about players for 2023 draft, not about players that fits for the user Sikamikaniko. I don't see anything inappropriate that someone posts such links. You can do the same. And I would be the first to defend you if anyone reproaches it.

everyone fits me, but I don’t understand why is important to inform if somebody goes on tryout and pop up eliteprospects link?! this has nothing to do about 2023 draft and prospects, it looks like personal advertising. Would be better if those 2 guys would enter the team and then inform about it.

In 10 years you will be proud, that you wrote some words about this prospects. :sarcasm:

With DIF Elit cup next week we will be able to see all the great players that have been mentioned play against each other. It will be pretty interesting to see. Which team do you think will win? I think Frölunda and Färjestad look strong but of course, all teams are good in this tournament.

not all.....almost all those teams were beaten by Täby on Folke Filbyter last year and they are not competing, not sure why. They would be one of my favourites.
