Yeah i know its early but 2022 draft discussion started pretty quickly too last year.
So far its #1 Bedard and #2 Mitchkov but after that what are players you are interested in for the Ducks ?
I don't see Bedard falling like Wright did at all. Who will be this years Slaf and Cooley ?

Blanket warning to everyone - the season is over, the active tanking is over, and everyone needs to remember how to get along.

Polite discussions of different viewpoints is fine. Assertions as to who is a good fan, who is a bad fan, and most particularly trolling behavior is going to result in thread bans and warnings. The vast majority of posters here are great about this. There are a few of you, on both sides of this issue, who are trying to start things, and I would advise you to carefully consider if that snarky comment you just made is worth being your last post in a thread. I would advise the folks who think that making an even snarkier response to make that same assessment. Neither of your posts will be seen by anyone else for long regardless.

It is perfectly fine to not understand how anyone could root for the team to lose. It is perfectly fine to not understand how losing has strong benefits to the franchise king term. There are gaping holes in BOTH positions, that may be discussed and debated…POLITELY.

We are all Ducks fans. Time to remember that and stop being at each other’s throats.

I'm vegetarian. Their menu is a lot bigger than the last time I went there. I think there was only 1 vegetarian item on the menu (only went because a group of friends wanted to go and it was owned by Selanne).
I had a truffle risotto there last time I went and it was amazing, guess that wouldn’t work for our vegan friends here, but for the vegetarians that’s a meal I’d for sure recommend.

We have plenty of options. We have the first pick of the second for sure. I’d definitely looks at someone like Nick Lardis. Dude is freaking so lethal since he got traded to Hamilton. Would look great on a line with Bedard

They are very good about leaving things out if you can't/won't eat them, or responding to special requests. If you ever go again try the Scarlet Beet Ravioli and the Mac and Cheese. Both are specialties, and both are very good. I am also very fond of the carrots and mushrooms, and in the winter they usually have an excellent butternut squash.

Getting best odds for me was always about preventing how far you fall like we have seen before. Atleast the floor is a choice of 2 in Fantilli, Carlsson, and Michkov. It also opens more potential trade avenues to acquire more assets
How does picking in the top 3 open more trade avenues?

was just thinking about the lotto process and how stressful it seems, but we've never really been a part of it in a year like this. gonna be a tense 30 mins or whatever lol

2020-21 season. Seattle would participate in the 2021 draft and slot with the same lottery odds of NJ.

28. Columbus 48 pts
29. New Jersey 45 pts
30. Anaheim 43 pts
31. Buffalo 37 pts

Anaheim's last five games went 2-1-2 (6 points).

Top prize in the draft is 6'6 D Power. Consensus 2nd best prospect is Beniers. Picks 3-8 were similar. Anaheim's scouting had it different: Power is #1 and picks 2-8 were interchangeable.

As a hypocrite - said I was against tanking during season, and the last 10-15 games or so did a complete 180 - all I know is everyone that’s been a Ducks fan the past few years has suffered immensely no matter what your position on the tanking topic is, and a guaranteed top 3 pick is at the worst an amazing silver lining to a record breaking worst season. And to those who never cheered against the boys no matter the position, absolutely good on all ya - you have more integrity than me lol

That being said, after we get our guy this year (assuming it’s not Bedard) we’re still in a stronger position than other lottery teams to take a bigger step forward - no more looking towards tanking, I’m more concerned about development of current young players. And lottery will be hell of a sweat lol. Have a good summer guys
