Benson would be a gift 13.

Simashev also likes everything even at 13, but it is difficult to predict where he will gone. If some team likes him, they can take him to the top 10 or top 15-20.

He's a good sized center that plays a 200' game, doesn't have any holes in his game unlike a lot of other players. You can argue that he doesn't have the highest ceiling but his floor is elevated. Basically he's at worse a surefire mid 6 C that will pk and play a defensive game

Kasper has all sorts of fire in his game. Danielson is just sort of there.

Danielson is a fine player who I don’t like any more than Ostlund at Center going forward. That’s not a reason not to draft him…but it makes me not excited about the prospect of doing so. IMO He doesn’t drive play, looks to slow the pace and he’s not as good of a skater. Just…don’t know what we’d do with him to make him worth 13.

I don't know who I like more, people who think it was rigged because of the teleprompter SNAFU and Weekes talking about how C'Bus landed 3rd early or the people that think this would make for good TV and replace the current envelope reveal.

It would be better for TV if they did it right. They don’t have to show Bettman going through all of the technicalities beforehand but they could show the balls being put in the machine and the draws. Updating live odds between each ball would be fun

Yeah, there is some concern about his skating and about the lack of size. He's probably going to be a playmaking winger, curious how he rounds out because there is very much a creative connector there.

In the first round they aren't. In the second and third round, the guys who either didn't answer questions enough to move up into the first round this year or guys who DID and slid are going to be thick on defense in those rounds. It need not be at 13.
