I got Reinbacher at 13 and Simashev at 41 the other day. Then i realized the software was whacked. 😉

I would guess we pick as no. 9 this draft. Might be able to squeak back into 8th.
Should give us another top 6 forward with serious upside. Sucks to not pick top 4 this year.

Jake Sloan would be a great pick and I think he would be there in the 5th. I like overager Milt Oscarson in the 6th and overager Max Lundgren in the 7th. I am intrigued with Aron Jessli, he is a Niagara commit and would be a nice late round pick as well, looks like a real PITA type.

If we're talking OA's...

He went to the Bio-Steel Top Prospects Game, played at the Junior A WC's, and is a Bemidji St commit.

He's built like a tank and drives contact.

They may also still be interested in Sova from Erie, though for a change of pace, I wouldn't mind a UDFA signing of Cameron Morton there.

They also had Suchanek, the Czech tender from the U20's, at their dev camp who might be on their radar.

its time to move up, we never moved up, just went down or got 1st when we finished last

I've done the math, in the history of the lotteries, we have lost a total of 8 draft positions. This means we are entitled to finish 9th and draft 1st overall or finish 10th and draft 2nd overall.

When is lottery? Only 2 spots and can move up a max of 10 spots right?

May 8th.

I hate the lottery to the marrow in my bones. I full expect them to be pushed down two spots by teams that finish above them in the standings again.

Button continues to be Button. ASP at 10, Reinbacher at 26. I know many here like Simashev...he's 66.

Watch how his rankings change as the U18's end. Whoever has a hot tournament will rocket up his rankings.

Very interested in who you guys tell us to start zeroing in on when June approaches

Sticking my nose into a U18 home game and my are they putting a beating on Muskegon tonight, 8-1 through 2 periods.

They've really turned their play up a notch since adding Eiserman to Moore's line. It's basically given them a 2nd #1 line

I was hoping to get more views on Leonard so I will be extra disappointed on draft day when he's long gone. And of course he doesn't play tonight and a 16-year old throws up 4 to become the highest scoring U17 in the program history (Eiserman) and noticed again that they have a 5'6"/139 lbs defenseman in Janviriya.
