OT: 2023 MLB Thread

What is the spot you need to be to not have your first round pick drop 10 spots? Is it 7th worst or 6th worst? I see the Mets are right on the precipice of both.

6th worse, you can also move up in the lottery though now too, and keep the pick. Here were results from this last season. Parentheses was teams record.

MLB really needs to get with the times and allow trading of draft picks.
 
I dont get my vientos is sitting and vogelnach sis playing DH. At this point let the kids get as many reps as possible.

Vogelbach offers nothing for the now or future in this organization.

Yanks tonight will have at least 4 in their starting lineup who started the season in the minors.Can't remember the last time that's happened under Cashman

I didn't, and still don't, understand the Chapman trade. He is who he is and it isn't the guy from 2014. Plus like every team has at least three guys in the pen who throw 100+ with substantially better command. Even if his stuff were still primo he's just not the unique look he used to be.

Oh, and it also doesn't help that Jose Altuve has Chapman's testicles stored in a safe inside his Houston locker.
