They can sign Bellinger because they will need a CF or LF (depending on Dominguez) and 1B (either NeXT season or after that with Rizzo leaving) get out in front of it now. He’s 28.. now if he wants 10 years or something ridiculous no. Yankees were going to trade for him if he was made available so they had interest already
Would you give him......6/170? I'm thinking he's playing his way into that sort of an offer because his market will certainly be competitive.

Oh look there's #4 for Dominguez....maybe they have their centerfielder after all, LOL.

LOL DOMINGUEZ AGAIN!

That was impressive dinger from JD because Rea got him down 1-2 and he looked totally non-competitive on those two high fastball swinging strikes.

Cole is so freakin' good. First NYY to have 3 seasons with at least 200 strikeouts.

Was surprised CC didn't get there, but he went 2009-2012 with 197/197/230/197. Dude was unreal and belongs in HoF. He has 3093 SO, so I bet he does.

The Yankees suck (as per usual) but to be completely fair, nobody can hit when balls you can't reach are strikes.

This is the worst game I've seen by Angel Hernandez and that's covering some f***ing distance.

He somehow manages to get worse every game...its amazing

Dominguez out 8-9 months..can't make this shit up

I know that's what Boone said but it's simply not the case with position players. Harper was back hitting in five months, Ohtani was hitting within six months. Dominguez probably couldn't play CF until after the ASB next season BUT he should be good to go out of Spring Training if they wanted to DH him. Plus it depends if he has a full reconstruction or one of the newer 'patch' procedures.

Let's see how this plays. I expect a new training staff and medical apparatus will be overseeing his progress, and for all the abuse the Yankees take they handled Gleyber and DiDi's UCL situations quite well.

Morosi on MLBN now saying to expect him back middle of next year.

Harper didn't have surgery until 11/23/22 and returned on 5/1/23. Assuming the Yankees will take their time with this one, hopefully Dominguez can have his surgery sooner than later assuming it's needed.

Probably what Ohtani is going to do as well. DH next year - 6.5 months to season opener which is about the low end of when you start to have full arm movement after surgery and rehab.

It’ll be less than 8-9.

If they want to let him DH while healing it’ll be closer to 6. Harper made it back in basically 5.
With the Yankees medical staff and how they handled/botched Rizzo,I would expect them to play the long game with Dominguez

I was okay with it at the time. They were making a push and Baez made sense. PCA was injured and while there was no doubt about the defense, it was unclear what level of offense he'd provide.

I never like trading players with hyphens in their name. Crow-Armstrong just seems like a good baseball name.:D
