If Rizzo gets back healthy him or Bauers should DH with Stanton in LF or RF and put Judge in LF maybe since it’s more difficult. Bauers bat should stay in the lineup.

Also if the Yankees think they can “make a run” Severino can not continue to start. Cole Rodon Cortes Schmidt and anyone but Severino. Randy Vasquez has pitched well in limited appearances.

I saw a stat that Sevys pitches are around the same speed as they have been in the past. Wonder how everyone is tagging him so much more now.

Bauers has been the biggest surprise this season and he's still relatively young. Also doesn't hurt that he's a lefty in a sea of righties.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if the Yankees make a big push big in the last 50 games and end up in the playoffs. I give them very little chance to actually win anything but I didn't think the 2009 team had much of a chance either so who the heck knows. If Cole stays hot and Rodon/Cortes figure things they'll at minimum be a nuisance

The Yankees could make the playoffs but getting pretty easily dispatched in the first round is the exact right result. Said the same thing about the Rangers all year.

Yankees scouts are heavily scouting Jung-Hoo Lee. The man is a hitting machine but how many players outside of Shin Soo Choo have made any impact from the KBO in the majors?

What is the KBO even equivalent to? Something between AA and AAA? I'd be all about signing guys from Korea, I just wouldn't make them core parts of my plan because it's just too much of a risk. I'd be more interested in Korean pitchers.

EDIT: This article says front office types view the KBO as between AA and AAA. That must be where I remembered it from as I don't actually know anything about the KBO.

Peralta so good against lefties..not so much against righties.Boone will eventually learn that, right?

The bp is getting taxed.can't continue having your starters last into the 3rd inning and expect good results

Yanks really need consistent deep starters after Cole, and they just aren't getting it.Hopefully a healthy Nestor helps there

Yanks now 4.5 back of 3rd wc..1-6-3 in last 10 series since July 1st.Should have sold,Cash

3 teams that they will have to deal for the next few years in the post season that are better than them and they went 4-6. i'm guessing that they probably did try to sell but here's something to consider: what they had to offer was really undesirable.
