OT: 2023 MLB Thread

I said it after his first start--Senga has ace stuff, but he can't command it well enough to be lights out consistently, so you're looking at a mid-rotation guy or even a back-end guy on a deep staff. Which is fine, but not the home run I hoped he'd be.

Nice to see Volpe coming into his own for Yanks - batting .292 with a .424 OBP in his last 15. Too bad the bottom of the order is complete trash and will cost the team many a games

Eh, he definitely didn’t look great tonight but he only gave up 2 runs. The Mets can’t hit for shit and keep leaving runners on base. And their entire pitching staff is questionable.

Yeah I was okay with rotating them at first until they settle in, but they look like they've settled in LOL. I don't mind giving Baty to occasional game off against a tough LH, but they should also still give him some starts against lefties, too.

Next up. Time to trade vogelbach for a Aaaa player and mid prospect and bring up Vientos.

Then in late may/early June bring up Mauricio for 2b and move mcneil to LF.

Then prosper, unless pitching completely falls apart.

Boone blew both games vs the Guardians, it’s honestly impressive how inept he is.

Edit: they bailed him out, nice job by the hitters.
