The Has lookout? lot's of work to be done, we still have to keep stockpiling talent and unload some dead wood and hope for the development of the young talent we have, this upcoming draft is really big for us as critical as last years, maybe more................................why couldn't we have gotten the first overall this year rather then last year? why oh why???????????????????????? lol


We are at least 3-4 years away from potentially having a real good team.

You guys could get Bedard? That would change your fortunes a year quicker at least!

Hoping the rebuild is quick.. it's better when Canadian NHL teams are contending! Every year half don't make playoffs.. it sucks. Nuck, Flames and Habs this year.

It especially sucks when the Montreal Canadiens aren't contending!! lol


We could still get bedard but the chances are real slim, I'm not that lucky CB.

Kessel with a bomb!

Czech PK was an unbelievable 16/16 going into this and they played the 5 top nations in the world. It's a hell of a feat to kill the PPs of Canada, us, Swiss, japan and Finland.

That streak is now over though... US up 1-0. Hope we can keep this close but I am skeptical.
 
Another US PP coming up.. if we can. Leave down 1-0 after won then I'd consider it a victory.

Full control and just beautifully tossing it around. We bent but did not break.
 
Give it's in Brampton which is very close to the centre of the hockey universe.. surprised that there are so many empty seats!

2-0 for the US Ladies.. and they just hit a bar. It's going well for them.. .PP coming up.

This has a similar feel to when our U18 boys play where it just feels like a matter of time till the US score 6.
 
I think our backup is in.. it's the right call! She's been a MVP and want her fresh for tomorrow!
 
My brains melt watching this women's ice hockey. Canada and USA are their own level others have no chance. Ref's try their best to make it more even :D...
 
Where is this game (the final) televised in the US? Certain marathon has me south of the 49th this weekend.
 
Finland beat Sweden for 5th place 3-1 and return to group A next year. Petra Nieminen with two assists to set the highest points total in a tournament with 14 points, besting Riikka Nieminen's tally of 13 from the 1994(!) World Championships.

Enjoy japan Sweden! They are a quality pain in the ass that skates very well.
 
#3 D for Switzerland... That is about as bad a shift as you can have... does not look like she even belongs at a women's worlds... I see players that good at local women's pickup games..
