Multiple teams now sitting their inevitable trade deadline guys. Makes me wonder for how long we will see klingberg in the lineup.
Some teams should sit their players mainly because their TDL piece might get injured.

In our situation, we need to sit Klingberg before people start catching on that he's not worth anything.

Bit of a random question, but how many retention spots do teams have at the deadline? I can't remember if it's 3 or 4.

Only difference for me, is Klingberg was so bad to start the year he kind of needs to play and we have to hope he plays well enough to gain more interest. He had a stretch going where you started to see the guy we signed, just need that guy back for a couple of weeks.

Depends on their evaluation of the player. I also think an underrated angle is they will need players down the stretch to fill the lineup
i don't exactly trust their evaluations of players atm when they're grabbing players like Megna and Leason. As for filling the lineup, I can see them bringing up some prospects to fill in instead of paying to get players.
Wouldn't be surprised. Verbeek has a lot to prove to me.
Yup, i don't think he has any intention on adding players that could upgrade the roster right now.

At this point we are relying on teams completely throwing out this season when evaluating him.

Klingberg actually has 7 points in his last 10 games, 5 in his last 4 with two multipoint games and a +2

Thats why I think he has to play right now. Only reason I wuld hold him out is if a team calls you and specifically asks you to hold him out because they are at least willing to give you that piece you want/need.

He can remind people of who he was in DAL right now. And we chalk up his early season performance to being ont he worst blueline we've seen in Anaheim since... Since... Man its been a long time since its been this bad.

Holding him out is probably the best thing with this team defense and system. Like @Ducks DVM said he’s riding a hot streak now, sell high. Lol

I don't think PV is in a rush to add to this team because I think he sees this is an organizational evaluation year, and as such doesn't care to give lineup spots to players outside the organization beyond what he had to do to hit the salary floor. For better or worse I think he was always prepared to let this group sink or swim. Players like Leason and Megna are just warm bodies to cover for injuries or keep players in the minors, I don't know why people are so upset about them. People don't get upset over the Gawdin/Kirkland/O'Regan type signings and this is essentially the same thing

How much more does someone need to evaluate? I mean seriously.

Lol what’s left to evaluate

Our defense is a bunch of 3/4 and ahl dmen

Our forwards are essentially zegras terry Henrique and mctavish and a bunch of bottom 6/ahl players

Our coaching is bad

Our goalies maybe arnt bad but have no support
