The Stanley Cup Champion Boston Bruins (hold for applause) would like to thank the wonderful site of HFBoards for hosting us today.

We’d also like to thank our star players Kreji and Bergeron. Without them playing for minimum wage, we could’ve never have put together a salary cap compliant squad that took us all the way.

Lastly we’d like to thank our new scout Brian Wilde in helping us make our selection today.

So with the 32nd pick, the Boston Bruins are pleased to select, from Lokomotiv Yaroslavl, the 6 foot 5 inch Beast from the East, Daniel le Buuuuuuuuttttt!!!

You looked at the standings, not the picks. Toronto has that pick.

The Columbus Blue Jackets are building something special and the pieces are beginning to come together. Before this draft, our cupboards had been stocked with the likes of Kent Johnson, Kirill Marchenko, David Jiricek, Denton Mateychuk, Corson Ceulemans, Stanislav Svozil and Jordan Dumais to name a few. At the 2023 NHL Entry draft, we've added our #1 center in Connor Bedard and a rough and tumble 2LD in Dmitri Simashev. One piece we feel may be missing though is our future starting goaltender and today we are going to address that need.

With no further ado, the Columbus Blue Jackets are happy to select from the Omaha Lancers of the USHL, goalie Michael Hrabal.

That a pretty solid draft to me those are basically the best FW, best D and the best goalie of the draft.

With pick #34, the Chicago Blackhawks select, from the Kelowna Rockets of the WHL, defenseman Caden Price.

''A high-end puck mover, he displays vision and creativity in the way that he pushes play from the back end. He is a smooth skater who can shake oncoming forecheckers and once he beats that first layer, requires very little time to complete a crisp feed up ice.''

@SOLR is up next for San Jose.

@SOLR is slacking on the PM but Ill go ahead.

With the 36th pick in the 2023 NHL entry draft, the Anaheim Ducks are proud to select, Carson Rehkopf from the Kitchener Rangers.

While this pick may be a bit off my board, it's a gamble I am taking on size, uncertainty of some other prospects I have ranked ahead of him and the LW and triggerman pool being pretty low for the Ducks. Rehkopf is a very good consolation prize to anyone that was looking at Barlow closely, he does a lot of the things Colby does at a fraction of the draft price. We also like that he does not look like he owned a Monte Carlo SS in 1996.

4. Anaheim: Leo Carlsson (C) - Orebro (SHL)
36. Anaheim: Carson Rehkopf (LW) - Kitchener (OHL)

Thats such a Detroit draft too! Very good. It kinda sucks they can't get that main forward to make them competitive, theyre mostly all support players.

Damn i wanted him :P I was sure it would be available at my spot
Yeah I have 3 picks before you (thanks Stevie Y), he wasn't making it to yours

Yeah they could really benefit from packaging some of those picks to get in the top 5. There prospect pool is decent but they lack high end talent, a bit like us.

But man, 5 top 40ish picks is crazy. Can't really be mad since the Habs' 1st rounders will be better but I'm still kinda jealous
