I'm calling it now....he's going 20th.
As of right now, I count 7 guys who are widely expected to go top ten. This draft has a clear top 7.
If we end up with the 8th or 9th pick, we might get a chance at one of those top 7. I hope we end up with a pick in the top 7, just to ensure it.

If Dragicevic isn’t top 20 in bobs final poll, I’ll eat my hat.
I would also guess that he goes a full five spots ahead of bobs final rank. Because of position. He’ll be the 2nd D taken. Odds are very good Reinbacher goes just inside the top ten and Dragicevic goes just inside the top fifteen.

Loved his play at the prospects game. He is a name I can see with the Senators pick. Fantastic skater from what I saw. Plays fast and has been aggressive whenever I have watched him (albeit only a few games and some WHL highlights).

The kid is now up to 70 assists, which is tied with Bedard for the most in the WHL. Also, he is now 4th in dub scoring.

I’ve never loved drafting players from lesser programs. PG would be one of them. Little history of success both on the ice and in development.

That can change once we get our own ducks in a row development wise. We’ve made improvements but we’re still not near good enough. Fergie needs to revamp Tucson quite a bit, coaching and roster wise.
In the interim, we sort of need to rely on good development programs to do some of the heavy lifting for us.

The way this kid is playing he might be in the NHL by 19 like Guenther. You won't have to worry about him in PG.

Thinking about drafting 8th and 9th. Last year that gets us Kasper and Savoie. They would be awesome. The year before, it would’ve been Clarke and Guenther. Also awesome. The year before that, Quinn and Rossi, which would clearly also be awesome.
Funny thing is all the online fans outside of AZ laughing it up saying AZ could NEVER get a Clarke or Savoie level prospect for Chychrun. Then the trade happens and they’re high stepping and chest thumping and crowing about how right they were. Look at what AZ got! They got ONLY a 1st - LOLOLOLOL

All I have to say is that our scouting staff better be good, because we're outside the top tiers and in the range where there are about 12 guys that could be selected.
Good news is that we're going to get two of those guys, bad news is that we're outside the top tier range.

The good news is that this is the deepest draft since 2015. This draft is way better than last years that it's not even funny.

He has dominated at times, but to be frank I think he got drafted a bit too high. Like I said before, I think Geekie will end up as a good third line center. His acceleration needs quite a bit of work. I see him turning out similar to his brother.
